Good afternoon ladies. Seems like I've been awol but actually i've just been busy. Got home late yesterday afternoon, took a bath, ate some dinner and then pretty much died in the bed. I was so tired.

Latest update: tony is still in the hospital, he should be having his test today to see if the hole in his stomach is healed, and if so, they should start clear liquids. Now, this is exactly where we were a week ago. Well minus the hole in the stomach. Hoping for a better outcome, this time around. I am not sure if I mentioned that he has a blood clot in his right axilla but doctor doesn't seem too worried about it.

I did get his sister's quilt done.Except for the last borders. I decided to bring them home and cut them at home since I don't have a large cutting board there. I do have another project cut to sew at tony's but may find a second project to take with me. I do need to get the binding on xavier's quilt for christmas.

I will be heading back on sunday so I can go grocery shopping on monday and hopefully he will come home on tuesday.

Have a great weekend and I will check in as I can.

Chriss, you must have had an amazing doctor. I bet it's nice to have a sink in the kitchen again. Some things you miss more than others.

Lyn, maybe it's just the battery or something simple on the riding mower. Glad you were able to get a space available for Minnie. I bet she could go missing in the tall grass.

Lois, like Maryq I put my batting in the dryer for 10-15 minutes and it gets the wrinkle out.

Maryq, glad you got your dishwasher hook up.

Tinab, my DH has had large boxes of pictures to sort though since 2020. They started off in the house, them moved to the patio, then to the garage. He just works around them. He sorted them and was going to give them to different family members. Since then 4 people have died. The follow though is just not connected.

Jana, did you get all the critters fed? I bet you are enjoying having Ethan there for the weekend. He's growing up so fast.

Judi, you were a bit chilly this morning. We get sun in the windows in the morning through the dining room and front room in the afternoon. I winters it keeps the house warmer. I have thermal curtains to keep out the heat in summer.

Maryz, Yay for the a team. I bet you are in heaven. How's Miss Boots? Is she talking up a storm and running everywhere? Jacks a little better today. I think he over did it a few days ago. It's slow going.
I'm about ready to get a Lulu.

Valerie, glad you made it home. How long is the drive?

We'll I moved a few pieces in the puzzle and it all worked out. I give it away to frustrate some other unsuspecting person. I pulled out a new puzzle that looks much easier. I did some errands this morning and need to go water up the street. I'm going to see if I can find a handy man to get down all the stuff up in the garage rafters. There's quite a bit up there. I see boxes that say there's stuff from Pasadena house. They moved here from Pasadena in November 1966. I had just had my 6th birthday. I barely remember the Pasadena house. Might be treasures, might be trash. I'll keep you posted. Don't know what's for dinner, but it will be something simple. We'll be watching the world series during dinner.

Have a lovely day.
