We are on Dr #4 already for today. We still don't know anything. Endoscopy scheduled for 1:30 but GI dr said probably earlier. Here is the current IV set up. Waiting on another but he is out of lines so it will have to wait till something else is done. The GI dr said it looks like there is a hole in the stomach so stuff is going through the hole and not the intestines. He will know more after the EGD. The surgeon has not been in, just her assistant.

Maryz I guess DH is doing okay. I haven't heard too much. Says he knows I am busy.

Somebody from the church came and gave him another blessing.

Good morning. What a beautiful day today is going to be. I have two loads of laundry to do and might be able to hang them on the line, we will be nearing 80* today

My kitchen is not done yet. I guess the deeper sink and the plumbing has dad trying to figure things out. The parents will be here today to put in my stove and at least I will have that so that I can cook instead of eating sandwiches. I'm getting frustrated but this is good for my dad.

Yesterday Judy and I took an almost two hour drive. We went down one road, sort of went around a block and came back up the same road and took the long way to my house. She didn't know it was the same road, and saw the same things with new eyes.

I also did the dusting and cleaned the garage yesterday. Dad has already put things on the empty workbench. This morning, in addition to the laundry, I will vacuum up dog hair. And depending on how long the parents stay I might go treat myself to a new coffee maker.

Lori, did you finish the Halloween puzzle? What puzzle are you working on now? Sorry about Jacks leg, hope the meds help. Never thought about those birds being brother and sister but you just might be right. I also don't seem to get holes in my clothes, Hope Bill wears the jeans.

Judi, sorry Ken had to go back to work, I wouldn't mind a little rain. Your friend will love your table runner.

Flo, I love a pot roast, I have two roasts in the freezer, as soon as I have a kitchen I will cook one up.

Lois, I never think to buy a turkey breast, I really should, they are good and make marvelous sandwiches.

Tina, happy Chrismon making. Will the kids take them home? Glad the soccer games went well, I love kids sports. High five for losing the weight. I'm not sure how they figure the weight charts vs BMI. I need to lose 15 pounds to go from overweight to where I need to be.

Valerie, sorry about the setback. The unknown is very frustrating.

Maryz, you said later this week. Not too long from now you will say tomorrow. I just might be almost as excited as you are. Can't wait to see that beautifully decorated tree. My mile was 18 minutes and 10 seconds. My goal is an 18 minute mile then I will challenge myself to a 17 minute mile. I'm working on my arm strength too. I don't think my sneezing is the dogs hair but you did remind me to buy a new dog brush, no clue where the old one went, but Moose needs a bath and I want to brush him really good first, he makes moans and groans when he gets brushed, It makes me laugh.

Lyn, I think frozen lasagna and ice cream bars are a great idea. How old are the kids?

Mayq, my nose is fine this morning. I don't think it's the dog. Nope, the sink isn't done yet. But I have another sink I use for washing dishes, And I don't use many dishes. He will put my stove in today, and I will be so glad to have it. What a beautiful wedding venue, I'm glad it was nice. My first wedding was with the justice of the peace in an uncles back yard and when I married Jerry we got married in the courthouse in Mariposa, it was built in 1854 and is still in use today.

Jana, the wedding you were in where the bride had a meltdown, are they still married.? Happy birthday to Matt.

All righty, time for me to move my butt. I think laundry might be a tomorrow thing instead of a today thing. Maybe I will do a little outside work before it gets too warm.

Dinner, if I have a stove it will be something other than a sandwich, Fingers crossed.

You allhave a fab day
Chriss

Jana Ken has a special skill that very few people have around here, The machinery is called chillers and they are a special kind of cooling, This building is 3000x1000 of nothing but computer systems..( I think they are called servers) If these computer things are not kept at a certain temp, they could literally melt...ot burst into flame. They generate a whole lot of heat, Microsoft owns the building and a company is getting all the equipment on line. they hired Kens company to keep it running right now it is phases. The entire thing might be ready by december,,,but they have already found problems so that is wht Ken has gone back..He will be home again maybe bt the end of th week or sooner, We never kn ow and niether does he we just play it by ear,,,XXX

Thanks Judi.

I understand completely what Ken's equipment does. Yes, the are servers and highly temperamental! The NAS, the ones that spy on everyone, has a huge complex, just down the road from me, using tons of cooling with lots of water usage. And the government is adding more buildings! And servers.

Chriss - I doubt they are still married. You see, the bride was my roommate, stinking rich, had a huge hissy fit at me, and threw me out of the wedding. My invite was revoked too! The reception was a full blown catered sit down, prime rib dinner for about 500 at the famous Hotel Claremont in the Berkeley Hills. Orchestra and dancing too.. The well known road, in Southern California, Mulholland Drive, is named after her grandfather who owned many orange groves and the land there too. After all that, I lost track of her, when she moved to Hawaii. She didn't need to work and could live wherever.

For those asking, Chrismons are Chistian symbols often made white and gold ornaments for a Chrismon tree that is placed on a Christmas tree in the nave of a church. These ornaments represent Jesus and his life such as lamb, manger, staff, cross and more. Each Sunday school child from age 2 (considered nursery) thru 8th grade receive one of their own so by the end of 8 grade they have quite a collection.
Ours are made of stryrofoam, pins, beads, sequins and gold glitter. They are bagged and presented to children sometime in December.
Prayers for Tony as Drs. find out whats going on, safe travel for Ken and others traveling and patience and strength for Valerie and Chriss"s Dad and other caregivers who are reluctant to ask for help or cannot find help when needed and for wisdom strength and patience to keep asking questions to get the information they need to make difficult answers. Blessings to all,
HUGS

Testing for today is done. They found a hole in his stomach. They are not sure how it got there, possibly an ulcer that went through the stomach wall. They will leave the drain in place for now, continue the antibiotics and antifungal, he will stay on the TPN probably until wednesday. She will do another cat scan on wednesday and check for healing. If things are looking good and the fluid is resolving, then they will attempt to start feedings. If not, it will be on to plan b, which we are not sure what it is right now.

Catch up with you all in the morning
