Good morning ladies, feeling much better today though sad with the happenings in this country. I don't know what the answer is.

Up by 6 am today. DH had already left for work. I have the bed in the back room with clean sheets, have unpacked a few things. My sheets are in the dryer and the dining room table is almost cleared off. I am going to try and cut what I need to on my Go today.

I did pick up a new machine yesterday to take to Las Vegas. I got a Bernette b38. It has pretty good reviews and a friend of mine just bought one. She likes it so I thought what the heck. I will only use it at Tony's so it will be fine. It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles but it has what I need. I ordered a case and 1/4 inch foot for it. They won't come in before I leave again but DH can pick it up and I can bring it on the next trip.

Chriss you may be right. Low and behold it looks like it rained last night. It is only 65 right now but 81% humidity so it feels hotter. All my doors are open and the fans are going and I still feel warm. Might want to think about leaving that AC open for a bit more. According to the weather we will get back to the 80's by the end of the week. Wow, can't believe Elliott is already starting to walk. But you know, nothing grander to have a grandchild happy to see you and run into your arms. LOL, yes the truck certainly bit the bullet.

Yes, Chriss and Mary, my house is that messy. The sink was so bad I almost threw up. How can anybody cook in that. The kitchen made me the maddest but Kitchen is much cleaner now but will need to be gone over again including the floor. I have some Clorox wipes so will use those too on the counters. I am making progress though. May not get it all done (my darn back) but it will at least be livable.

Lori my VC is on the back burner for now. Maybe next month I can make progress.

Mary yes I bought a pattern named Serenity and many of the batiks will work for it. I did have to buy a small amount of off colors like orange that I didn't have but many I am pulling from the ones I bought. It's a pretty pattern I think and doesn't look all that difficult. Not sure when I many get to it but I am sorting through every thing I bought while I was gone and making sure needed fabrics are their respective pattern in case it's years before I get around to it. My current focus is Gwen (Tony's sister), New GGD, DGS and husbands friend (guitar quilt). Yes we had somebody staying here and I have informed DH never again. I will have the neighbor watch the house. He was supposed to eat the food we left (at least said he would) but didn't touch any of it. So it all went bad in my newly cleaned fridge. Well it is newly cleaned again. We also got some shopping done yesterday.

Jana I also thought of you after hearing the news yesterday, and so sad the President passed all at the same time. I don't understand why some people do this. What ever happened to Love your neighbor as yourself? I just don't even know what to say. True biblical forgiveness means releasing bitterness, not necessarily forgetting every detail of the offense. Maybe in time.

Diane hope you will post the QOV when it's done. I love the ones you do.

Rainy here today and cooler.

I have tried and tried to load photos onto Postimages and it keeps coming up with an error message. I have tried different photos, turned on the WiFi on my phone. Nothing works. I had a whole thing typed up about the trail ride and luckily I did a screenshot of it, because QIAD got tired of waiting and wiped out that post I had started. I will try later.

I need to work on my sister's quilt.
