Good morning ladies

Another day in beautiful downtown Indian Springs, NV. We went to town and picked up his prep medication for his test on Monday. Now he is sleeping and I am sitting quietly. Think I will try to knit when I am done here.

Lyn always good to have those detectors. I need to get them for DBIL's house. I see what looks like a smoke detector but no Carbon Monoxide.

Chriss I am really looking forward to Fall here. By October 1 the temps usually start to fall. It is still close to 70 overnight. Don't really see many leaves falling yet though. Othen making sure Tony takes his medicine and eats/drinks nothing much on my agenda either.

Judi Happy Birthday ๐ŸŽ‚ ๐Ÿฅณ ๐ŸŽ‰ Hope it's the grandest day ever.

Jana good luck with that JA quilt. I am passing on that one.

Maryq what's the verdict on your kitchen redo? Any firm choices yet?

Diane hope the heating pad works.

Well time to knit. Hope you all have a marvelous day.

Lois, I'm sorry to hear the company failed to fixing the machine. It doesn't sound like they were very invested in getting it fixed. I guess it's good that you can send it back.

Judi, happy birthday. Hope it was a good one.

Maryz, I did see the kitty yesterday, but not today. The neighbors are having a party and are probably too loud for the kitty. She'll come by later and eat. I left her a can of food and some dry food as well. I finished up one of the small quilts last week. I have them put away for now. There was an animal shelter group with some cats, goats and birds at the farmer's market this morning. The kittens were cute. I looked though their book and they have a 9 year old female calico that need a home. I might foster her and see how she does with the boys. I'm getting rid of some of my quilts since I got some back from mom and dad.

Diane, I sure hope the heating pad works for you.

Valerie, did you get any knitting done? What are you knitting?

Lyn, I have one smoke detector and on carbon monoxide detector in my house in the hallway. We have a small house and the dogs will alert us before the detector goes off. One in every room seem a bit of over kill.

Chriss, Jeopardy was good. I actually got quite of few answers right. Kitty only comes in the evening for food. Funny that it's extra for an ashtray with they used to be a standard feature. Times have changed. Steak sounds good, but we won't be having it for a while. Bill had some dental work done today and wouldn't be able to eat it.

Jana, those cat names are a little different.

Judi, you and Jana can compare notes on the JA quilt. It's a big one with lots of fun blocks.

My morning took an unexpected turn. We had a few ants scouting around. I couldn't find where they were coming from, so I cleaned the kitchen top to bottom. I even moved the fridge out and clean back there. It wasn't too bad. I just did it about 4 months ago. I haven't seen any ants, so maybe they went elsewhere. I went to the art supply store and got a few paints for my watercolor class and then came home and watched the Cub game. Bill doesn't want to eat, so I had cereal.

Sleep well my friends.
