Cooler, cloudy, possibly rain, and smoke from wildfires.
MaryZ, I didn't leave any money at the LyonsQS. I did pick up the new Country Register paper. I always enjoy looking at it and have even tried some recipes.
Chriss, I have liver wurst, a favorite on toast when I splurge and buy bread. Hope you get out of ICU today.
Tina, I've never heard of a baby with that before, sure hope she's OK.
Judi, I bought some rulers and the #72 foot years ago for quilting on my Bernina 440QE. The rulers are thinner than Bernina brand. I learned that in order to make them work I have to adjust the presser foot down from 2.0 (factory setting) to 0.0. Any changes in settings will put a yellow outline on that setting. When you want it back to original, you don't have to manually do it, you can just touch that box and it will go back to the factory setting. Lady asked me if I do buttonholes. I haven't in like forever. You pick the buttonhole you want to use, then touch the length on screen and it comes up with a circle you can adjust. Hold your button up to it, adjust so circle is as big as button and the machine will adjust the length for that button. I learned that I should be able to load my Bernina Design 7 software onto my Windows 11 machine and I can connect my laptop to this machine like I have done on my 440QE. We didn't get my embroidery unit out. I haven't even had it out of the carrier yet. She suggested I play with it first then set up a lesson when I have questions.
Kids getting sick at school reminds me of our friends who's DD was a teacher years ago. We had told our friends about Colloidal Silver and it's benefits. First they bought a bottle when friend, Jody, had a bladder infection and it healed her. We have a Colloidal Silver generator to make our own, much cheaper than buying the bottles at a vitamin store or natural food store. So they wanted to know where to get the generator. They started making their own and the DD started using the Silver water, as we call it. She would wipe down her daughter's back pack and lunch box every day after school. Mom Teacher would wipe down desks in her classroom and other items. They would both drink a few oz every day. They stayed healthy, even during Covid. Colloidal Silver is very useful, but big pharma doesn't like it. That's my suggestion for staying healthy.
I don't have to go down the Mtn for anything today. I'm going to start laundry and hide downstairs in my empty sewing room, with my machine and a small table.
Prayers for all. Hope you have a good day.
Lyn

Lyn, you mentioned Lyon's quilt shop. I've wanted to take a class there with Barbara Yates Beasley. She does the animal portraits. I'll get there some day. I didn't know you were so close.
Maryq, I need to get a dishwasher and fridge for the house up the street. I just need to make myself go shopping. UGH! Soak fabric in Retro Clean to get the stains out.
Tina, it's good to see you. Lucky you to have a handy husband to fix things. If I can't fix it, we call someone out.
Jana, I did some clothes ironing the other day. I really enjoy it.
Maryz, I was thinking it was the server provider as well. I've notified them everyday it's down, so they know it's a problem. I keep getting notice that they reset the server. So Gene must be doing well if he went home. What's the difference in AK time from Pacific? Glad you got some sleep. Sounds like the PT and massage helped. I need a massage. Scottie is not going to be happy with you later, but it's for his own good. I would love to have rain.
Judi, I got plenty of fabric. I think I will have extra when I'm finished. I put it away for now, but will get back to it maybe next month. The place you are going sounds wonderful.
Diane, we are able to turn off the A/C at night and open up the house. It's been a little cooler, so the house is still open this morning, but will close up once it gets hot. I love to have my doors and window open.
Chriss, I sure hope you get to go home today. I think you will heal better in a more relaxed environment. And Mr. Moose needs his mommy.
Lois, I too have allergies this time of year. They aren't too bad yet. Just a little stuff when I wake up, but then it goes away.
Valerie, are you ready to roll out of town?
Dogs are walked. Time to vacuum. There are tufts of dog hair floating around my floor. I'll also do a little work up the street today. It's starting to cool down a bit. Nights about 67 but going down to 64. Only a few more days in the 90's. Bring on the fall. I got the back ready for my "BeWitched" quilt. Just need to put it together. Maybe this afternoon. Dinner will be teriyaki chicken and rice.
Have a lovely day.
