Good almost evening. It could be evening, I'm not sure when afternoon ends and evening begins.

Today was quite busy. The parents came up and dad fixed a leak. He also bought Moose a water bowl that hooks to the outside faucet and will never go empty. Dad and Moose are buddies.

Then we pulled out the totes I have with pictures, newspapers and other family treasures. I've got almost all pictures sorted. Tonight I will start reading through old newspapers and papers and find out why they were saved. I don't need to get this done but just hate clutter and excess. I have so many multiple prints of each picture. I only need one, and frankly I really don't need one of most.

All of this stuff has been stored for easily 20 or 30 years, just sitting in totes in my closet. Some of it is interesting, other stuff is just excess.

Last night I picked every cherry tomato on the plants. I also got my first cucumber and some tomatoes. My tomatoes aren't bigger than a golf ball. I don't know why. I'm using fresh new soil and added miracle grow soil to the beds. I started with plants, just don't know why.

Judi, your quilt is beautiful. Congratulations on the new baby in the family, Bash sounds like a kid who will take on the world.

Maryz, prayers for Khloe and her parents. Good information about getting a rental car. Never thought of it.

Lois, hope the chores go quickly and don't bleed into tomorrow so you and DH can have a nice Sunday

Jana, if discussions between Mr. G and the kids cause you to clean you must have the cleanest house in the world. ha ha. Hope the boys made it home and were able to get in on the "discussion"

Lori, it's surely not cooler here. We are at 101 at 4:30. Sadly it isn't cool enough at night to open up the windows. And the leaves ae falling out of the oak trees like crazy. I should do some raking. I did have the best time ever with Elliott. Sons and grandsons are the very best. How is your son doing?

Valerie, being a grandma is pretty cool. It's been hot here too. I woke up at 6am and it was already 70. I didn't even bother opening the house. Nice that DH helped with the vac. Moose doesn't do anything except bark at the vac. But he did go outside and watch me hang laundry.

Maryq, I also have to keep my mouth shut at times too. I think once Elliott figures out howto turn around he will be off and running. Hope Eli heals well and doesn't have any more bone trouble. I would imagine the doctors checked his bones to see why they break easily. I have never broken any bones. I think Leni Lou sounds like an adorable name, and yes, she is the perfect size.

Lyn, when Marilyn was in school, she would tell me about EMO kids. They were emotional. And you are shopping at the Emo store, just made me chuckle.

This morning I did two loads of laundry, the clothes have been put away and the sheets are ready to go on the bed. I will do that right after dinner which will be a salad with cheese, salami and pepperoncinis.

You girls have a fabulous evening.
