Tuesday March 25th
Good morning it is cold and sunny, I am headed out to get the labs done. Nothing on the books today, I got all the laundry done yesterday, and the kitchen tidied up. even mopped the floor...( after I broke a baking dish and glass went everywhere,Moping is the best way to insure no slivers of glass were left behind.)
Today after I get back I might just stitch more of the embroidery,,,Some of the blocks on this quilt have very tiny motifs and several can be done in a short time...so Im excited to get a pile of blocks ready for those Y seams ..not,,,
Hope you all have a great day doing something fun XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Good dunny morning to all.
Hoping for a call from the cancer study. Before you get the infusion you have blood and urine test taken. Well 2 weeks ago Joe's number was higher again so the infusion is on hold. Yesterday he went for these tests and we'll get the phone call today. I doubt the call will be good. Friday he has a virtual call with the Doctor, fingers crossed. Please keep him in your morning prayers.

Good morning
Went to MAD Monday yesterday where we make charity quilts. Got my latest one done and now just have to send for quilting. Today is open sew. A space opened up so I took it. There is a couple more if anyone else wants to come.
My sister is going to urgent care this morning. She has now broken out in a rash all over. She is itching quite badly. Probably the Antibiotic. She is still sleeping a lot but pain is better. We will see what urgent care is. She believes this has been coming on for some time now. She also mentioned her arthritis has been quite bad lately. Just wish somebody would figure it all out. She did manage to change the bed on her own though.
Lois no real good sales at the Joann's here either. I went and left with nothing also. I have often looked at that radiant star pattern and thinks it's beautiful but have never tried it.
Chriss we are getting into the 80's today. Yes, sneezing season is here. I just said yesterday, can't wait till Winter! Know that as Jerry's passing anniversary comes up, feelings may be all over the place. I think planning your day ahead of time might be a good plan.
Judi a B in Chemistry is a good grade. I had to take it and it is very hard. Chemistry and physics, YUK! I am sure he will do great. I hear Pharmacy school is hard to get into so he is doing great. Hope the labs come out good.
Diane yes prayers for Joe
MaryZ my tax news is absolutely rediculous. I ran it through again cuz I couldn't believe it. They can just wait until April 14 for their money. Say hello to Santa for me and let him know I have been good! So glad to hear Scottie is doing better.
Well DH is leaving for work, I need to get breakfast and a few things accomplished before I leave for open sew. Have a great day everyone.

Good morning.
Judi, hope your labs go OK. And I hope the baking dish that broke wasn’t an “important” one. A.k.a., your favorite. Congrats to your smart grandson. I’ve taken chemistry, too. It ain’t easy.
Valerie, have fun at open sew today. And I do hope they can figure out what’s going on with your sister.
Diane, prayers for your Joe and for you, too. I know you are anxious. I would be, too
Per my new normal, I am sitting in the lobby of our hotel. They are setting out their continental breakfast now. I get up about 4 AM and my sister gets up about 8 a.m. so I come downstairs and get a little time to sit and read and have coffee. We will pick up some pastries and visit my brother this morning and then drive into Fairbanks, gas up the car, return it, and check in at the airport. I’m looking forward to being home. I miss Scotty and Foxy. Oh, and Bill. Saying goodbye to Gene will be easier this time since I’ll be seeing him later this week when he flies down to Seattle. Lol!
Hello to everyone else.

Good morning everyone
Judi, how did your bread turn out? What kind did you make? Oh no you broke a glass baking dish.....I hope it wasn't a special one.
Diane, prayers for Joe
Valerie, for the charity quilts do they have someone that volunteers to quilt them or do you have to pay to have them quilted? I hope they check your sister for measles, there has been an outbreak in Texas and last I saw several here in New Mexico have gotten it too, it's spreading.
Yesterday we went for a drive, I drove and Frankie napped off and on LOL
Maryz, that seemed like a fast trip. Safe flight home.
We're going to be 85° today with only a 7mph breeze so I'm hoping to get some watering done and maybe some cleanup, there's still drifts of sand all over and some broken things from that dirt storm. I also need to clean my Acadia, even though it was in the garage it still has a pretty heavy layer of fine fine dust all over inside that I noticed yesterday....it amazes me how that fine sand can get into sealed things. Our 5 acres has drifts that remind me of the Saraha Desert, when we were on our drive yesterday there were tons of places the same way.
You all have a great day!
Prayers for all in need

Good day to All.
MaryZ, Safe travels.
Diane, Praying for you both.
Judi, Didn't you see the cardiologist last week? A broken dish is no fun to clean up.
Valerie, Prayers for your sister. I hope she doesn't drink diet soda. I've read a few stories and have met a lady who had aspartame poisoning. You seem to be adjusting to retirement quite well.
Lois, If the shelves and table have any life left, why not set at the curb with a Free sign on them.
Yesterday I got TurboTax downloaded and the basic information updated. I'm using my old laptop because it has the past years of TurboTax on it. So the first thing was to update Windows, which took a while. I had to pick up the mail and hit the grocery store in the afternoon.
Today I will work on the taxes. I will also try setting up the local antenna and see if it works like the reviews boasted.

Good morning all y'all!
Up, dressed and ready to head out the door. Well, I am! Still working on getting Mr G going. He's slower than molasses at the North Pole in a blizzard in a very cold January! And there's no hurrying him! We meet with Social security at a very odd time for a appointment, 10:34 am. Hopefully all will go well. I have all the paperwork ready, checked and double checked in my bag. The papers were missing last night, but Sarah had taken them to her house, but I had a additional set of copies, so we're good.
It's a very lovely day here, near 80 for our warmth. But, it's whiplash season and that will be gone tomorrow!
No sewing for me. Besides this morning's appointment, I have my eye appointment this afternoon. Actually that's a good thing, as I thought that appointment was tomorrow and there would be a conflict with PT. All is good.
Time to get someone going!
Hugs,
Jana

Re: Tuesday March 25th
Good morning. Today will be another extra warm day. I opened the windows at about 6am because it was already 54* outside. We are supposed to get some rain on Sunday and then through next week.
I am about half done with my weed eating. I like to clear a path around my yard. As the weather heats up the snakes come out. It's not like the ground is crawling with snakes, but I want to be able to see them if they decide to show up. When we were kids and went out to play grandma would always say "watch for snakes" I look down a lot when I walk to this day.
I am not weed eating today. I will get some things done indoors and see where that leads me. I may putter in the dirt in the garden for a little bit, we will see. I'd like to get things really in order in my spare room. There's not a lot of junk in there but I would like to clear the desk and get rid of some of the excess.
Valerie, you are so right about my feelings running amok. I've decided to talk with a therapist, I'm quite a mess. I'm even thinking about Zoloft, I took it when I was going through a divorce, I may need it again. I would love to come to open sew. Hope they fix your sister.
Lyn, I have an antenna hooked up to my tv. There is a rotor attached to it so I can move the antenna so it gets a better signal. Amazing the amount of channels that come in via antenna.
Well, it appears my tree guy is coming to get some wood, I hear his tractor. Guess I ought to get dressed and go outside.

Re: Tuesday March 25th
Yesterday was a good and sad day. I had lunch at a tea house with friends in the afternoon.
Then my dad passed last night. I went to see him about 4:30. He looked comfortable. He died at 6:30 pm.
I'm so glad he doesn't have to deal with not knowing what's going on anymore. It's been a long battle with dementia. I've been making calls all morning and need to go to the mortuary to make the final arrangements.
