Valerie, If I lived closer I'd help you out with the MC. Sure hope they figure out what is up with your sister.

Chriss, did you get your dirt for planting? I'm thinking of growing tomatoes this year. When Elliott gets a little older, he can help you plant things. That will be fun. The kids are really going to freak out when he goes to school and there's all kinds of cooties.

Judi, that's a big pancake. I could eat the whole thing, and would.

Maryq, I can't believe Evie is 18 already. Happy birthday to her. Hope you get a good little group going.
It's fun to get together with others that have the same interests as you.

Tina, dang girl. I was just going to make one loaf of banana bread today. I kinda feel like a slacker. It sounds like a good day for you to sit and the big chair and relax.

Jana, I haven't worked on my OWL in a few days. I really want to get all the main blocks finished soon.

Lois, our waste management picks up bulk items for us 3 times a year. And they'll pick up multiple items.
Hope they give you an extra pickup.

Funny, it must be a pancake kind of day. I planned on having buttermilk pancakes for breakfast too. I have strawberries and whipped cream to go on top. We already got our walk in. It's a beautiful morning. Sunny and supposed to get into the mid 70's. I slept good last night, so I'm ready to take on the day. I need to vacuum and wash the sheets. Don't know what's for dinner just yet. I'm off to make pancakes now.

Have a lovely day.

Lori, the kids will freakout with school cooties. I remember going back to work and having to put Rich in daycare. I told the daycare person that he was never sick when at home in his plastic bubble, she and I laughed over the germs that are out in the world. Maybe I could just put CV (cootie vaccination) on his little hand. Did you do that as a kid?

Judi, like Lori, I'd also eat the whole pancake.

Valerie, there is also bird flu. Maybe the person asking for the test didn't know about the chickens?

Music is done! My organist got his pages mixed up from the two different hym we did. We started singing the last hymn and it's a 2 pager. So the second page was covered by the other hymn, we'd already sang. So he started to play the first measure of the wrong hymn, and realized the mistake and the paper went flying and he quickly caught up with me and all went well after that. We made it through to the end! Always need some extra excitement in church! More fun that way! Most of the congregation had no idea, he covered his mistake quickly and very well.

Now to sew!

Oh, I started out as one of those moms that sterilized everything with Sarah. That lasted 2 days and I just wiped off the pacifier on my shirt and gave it back to her. I was raised riding in the back of pickup trucks, no bike helmet, riding a skate board and getting a drink of water from a hose! Mine had similar upbringing, but the government made some rules we abided by. Once Aaron got a ticket for riding his bike without a helmet. He had to pay that ticket out of his own savings. The judge smiled. Bring on the dirt!

Chriss I told my niece to tell them about the chicken coop but can't say for sure she did. I would bet she did though. Can't reach anybody today so not sure what is happening

Just a fun FYI

Just saw a news story on my tablet from Fox News, about increasing copper production from the Bingham Copper Mine, also called the Kennecott Copper Mine, with the largest open pit Mine 8n the world. The man who first started this Mine, is my great great grandfather, Erastus Bingham. There were pictures with the story and show some of the area where I live. Mr G's mother was born in a now covered over by tailing dirt, town, called Bingham. Long before I knew Mr G. So if you would like to see parts of Herriman, this shows the mountain side, near me. Maybe two miles away.

Good afternoon from breezy Texas.

Happy Birthday MaryZ! I hope you are having a great time. Was Gene surprised?

MaryQ, Happy Birthday to Evie.

Lois, Do you have before photos? Of course we All want to see photos of the 'new look' in the sewing room.

Valerie, I'm glad your Sis is home, but not having answers isn't. I hope her kids get her into a Dr that will find answers.

Valerie and MaryQ, Thank you for reminding me of the Thyroid med. I try to make sure Garry takes it first thing whenever he's up. I normally put the pill in a little cup in the bathroom, with a glass of water next to it, so when he gets up to potty between 7 and noon, he takes it, before going back to bed.

Chriss, I know you were hoping to cover Elliott with kisses and hugs. I hope you don't pop. I was raised mostly on a farm growing up and playing in the dirt was standard, hence my girls were raised the same. I sure like hearing how your Dad's helps you out. Please give him a hug πŸ’ž from me. You need to pat yourself on the back for me, too. You are coming up on a year, a year where you had set goals and unless I've forgotten something, I think you've nailed it.

Jana, Glad you held it together on the music. Dittos on how you grew up. I think someone else asked, is the deck done to enjoy the upcoming lovely afternoons? I lived in West Jordan 1985 - 1992.

Judi, You and Ken are such good grandparents! Thanks for MaryZ update. Could you please remind me what quilt are you working on, is it hexi's? I watched a MSQC tutorial on a hexi template that is a quilt as you sew. I'm considering buying the template.

Lori, I'm sending you hugs πŸ’ž. I know going thru the parents house is hard. I had it a little easier because my sister being the oldest sorted through more than half when she was in Colorado taking her turn helping our parents, who were in different living facilities. Our 2 brothers did help with the garage.

Tina, I think you have one too many banana nut breads in the freezer. I'd be happy to remind you of my address for this week. If PT isn't starting to improve your foot, maybe you should question the PT people and again question getting an Xray sooner than later. Squeek Squeek.

Jana, I've been to Kennecott Copper Mine. How neat that it's in your family history.

Not sure I've mentioned this, but I've been having some not quite dizzy but woozy moments in the past couple weeks. I think seeing the Chiropractor has helped and will see him again before we leave April 1st. Today I have only had one moment of woozy, so hopefully it's going away. As for Garry, the projection alarm clock was shining on the ceiling and he didn't get up before MaryZ. Today was the last gospel jam until next fall, many of us leaving April 1st. It's nice to listen to live Christian music and make hexi's back in the corner.

May you all have a good evening.
Lyn

Lynn, Thank you for the compliment, we feel blessed that we are able to spend time with the youngest grandchildren.. the quilt I am making is called "Garden Friends Honeycomb" by MSQC. It is composed of 72 large hexigons..About half of the hexigons have embroidery on them..the entire quilt is done with 10 inch squares.xxxooo

Happy happy birthday Maryz!!! πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‚πŸ₯³
Maryq, yes there was a shooting in Cruces, I called Kevin to make sure they were all ok, thankfully they were. My little brother and my DSIL are ok too. Happy birthday to Evie!! πŸ₯³
Judi, Frankie's Dad used to make all the kids that size pancake every morning 😁 I learned to make that size too. Frankie laughed at my regular size pancakes when we first got married πŸ˜‚πŸ€£
Chriss, I sure hope Elliott's parents learn to be calm. πŸ™
Valerie, I have sleep apnea too and wear a CPAP machine, I used to throw mine off through the night but now can't sleep without it.
Lori, your breakfast sounds yummy! I ended up balancing the checkbook and paying bills and getting all our paperwork done today, I'm kinda tired πŸ˜‚πŸ€£
Lyn, I hope your wooziness gets resolved and it's nothing serious.
You all have a great evening
Tina
