Good morning!

Beautiful outside! Even warm, 45 right now! The space aliens came last night and left a person that looks like me, but is so much more efficient! My laundry is done and even put away, already, the kitchen is clean, dishes done, Mr G fed, and my entertainment is out and vacuuming. So my uglies are done and the laundry room is available, along with lots of hot water!

We're off to PT in a few minutes too. I need a quick stop for veggies while Mr G is busy at PT. That makes for more efficiency! Who is this person? :)

Batt Cave here I come!

All paperwork is ready for social security. Sarah will get them off today. She has been taking our carousel slide trays up to her house to scan all the slides we have from the last million years. Mr G was a avid photographer when we got married and did all his photography in slide format. Well, with the anniversary party coming in August, Sarah is wanting to find the family pictures. We have tons of trains, duh!, and scenery, not quite as many family shots. Some of the scenery can never be replaced. It's Yellowstone, before the huge fire that destroyed many many trees. So slide film can degrade over years, it's good to digitize everything. Our slides are still in excellent condition. Sarah keeps asking me about what trip was what, based on the date printed on the slide and she expects me to remember! So far, so good, I do! And fill in the family history in that time too.

Well, off to PT,
Hugs,
Jana

Jana, you are on fire today. Isn't it great when you get so much done. I need a day like that too. Well, not today.

Chriss, I didn't go to see DSD. She didn't call until 1430 and I had other things going on. There was no cake.
I might have made an exception if there was cake. lol

Lyn, I looked up you location and it looks nice. I even found a house I'd like to buy there. I would love to leave CA, but Bill doesn't want to leave...ever. He barely leaves the house. I'll have to check out that document program. I used to use Word Perfect back in the day and I really liked it. Then Microsoft came out and took over everything. I was not happy about that.

Judi, did you find any treasures at the stores? Maybe you should come to SoCal instead. Our weather has been really nice.

Valerie, Yeah, that would be a long day. I don't do well with long days anymore. Glad you are coming to the finish line at work. You need a long vacation.

Tina, bummer your foot isn't getting better. I've have a bad foot for 20 years or more. I just power though my walk and it always seems better if I do.

Maryz, look at you all fancy with the color this morning. I used to be better at list making. I've slacked off in the last year. I stay more focused if I have a list. I do go though my quilts/UFO's every year and try to organize those in a list of needs to be quilted, finished, or get rid of.

Lois, I tried a stencil on a roll before. I didn't like having to remove the heavy paper they use. I've used golden paper to make my own and it's much better. It's like tissue paper. Easier to remove.

Well I best get busy. I work at dad's on Monday. I want to finish the cabinets and drawers in the master and haul some stuff to Goodwill.

Have a lovely day.

Just saw a news article on the JoAnn's bankruptcy. All stores to be closed and everything sold off at store closing sales. Oh well, another 9ne bites the dustl! Sad! I worked for them many years ago and so did Sarah. She managed one in Danville..

I'm back, thought I'd check in with you all and see what you were up to today.
Chriss, I bet your tree guys property looks pretty cool. I do our enchiladas without onions but I use corn tortillas for enchiladas and flour tortillas for burritos. Next step with my foot is the insoles but I gotta wait a little while for those. Soon though.
Lori, you've really got a lot to do at your dad's, I like how you have it scheduled though. I plug through doing things with my foot but then it stops me dead in my tracks with excruciating pain and I can't walk but it'll get better 🤞
Lyn, I'll have to check out that Libre thing, thanks.
Jana, you've really gotten a lot done early.
Night,
Tina
