Good morning, DH off work today so likely won't get much done. He did start the washer and I made the second pillow case for DSIL. I have to get my flu shot so will go to the post office when out. Also want to start working on borders for DGD quilt I am hoping I can miter the corners. I did watch a Youtube video this AM so we are good.
Tina maybe Holly needs to get a second opinion. I guess unless you knocked the water bucket over it probably wouldn't flood the cabinets. Pizza for lunch sounds good but my GI system no longer likes Pizza.
Chriss OOO crock pot granola sounds good. You should post the recipe. I love granola with yogurt. Uhm, I need eggs, maybe I should go to Costco. I am paying $10 something at WalMart for 18. I heard on the news yesterday eggs will likely continue to rise due to the ongoing issues with bird flu and them having to kill Millions of birds. This is really sad. OHM, your lunch sounds good too. Good to have choices, yours or Tina's? You know what I used to put on PB&J, Bananas! It's great.
Lori happy sewing. I agree, the kids do like to do things for Mom.
Maryq I have an Android phone but a Ipad. I really like my Android phone, my son swear's by Apple.
Jana somewhere, log ago, I read somewhere, that Blue and Yellow are the most common colors for quilts. Don't know if that is true but ...... Funny how those fabric bolts just jump up there. Happens here too.
Judi I have not joined any of the guilds here. Funny, some of the guild members come to Free Sew and some of the other things I attend, I hear them talking about others behind their back (not nice!) and then want me join. Yea, I don't think so. Was wondering about Val the other name. You know she has the perfect name so I think of her often.
Flo nothing better than home made bread!
Maryz we are cold her today for us. It's 46* right now and supposed to get to 53*. It's cloudy and looks like it could rain. Yes, I agree, watch that weather. Tornados though, that would not be fun.
Lois who actually owns BJ. Our BJ here is a restaurant. They have pretty good food and some gluten free options but closest one is 25 miles away.
Well I really should get dressed, see about the flu shot. At kaiser you can just walk in, no appointment needed. With any luck it won't make me sick. Last year for the first time it did. Hope every one has a wonderful day.

Good day to All.
Overcast, drizzling off and on and in the 50's.
Lois, Do your present phones have an SD card for additional storage? If so make sure that gets transferred and if you're turning old phones in, take your SD card out. You can load it's information, pictures and such onto your computer. Make sure you back up your phones, too. I didn't do that last year and lost some stuff.
MaryZ, What a great picture of you and Cindy. Yes, my sewing stuff is still in the cargo trailer. I hope Bill's appt goes well. Too often we've seen people head back north when weather was bad, instead of waiting a day or two. One year we waited an extra day because of wind out of the North, good thing we did. When we pulled in the RV Park near Waco, we learned a Tornado had gone thru and the site we would have had, had big branches down.
Valerie, Your trip will be exciting. I do question how far y'all think you will travel each day. Last summer's trip to Oregon, in the Jeep, I drove over 500 miles one day, it wasn't fun. Maybe if you and DH trade off driving, 900 miles to Rock Springs, WY, won't be bad.
Carol, Nice to see you.
Flo, Is sandwich bread made differently, I thought bread was bread?
Judi, Prayers for Val. Suitcase packed?
Jana, Sorry Mr G has to wait so long. Kidney stones are no fun, been there, done that.
Chriss, That book program sounds wonderful. The only time I meet up with other quilter's is at a QS, while shopping. I'm not in one place long enough, maybe some day.
Tina, I feel for Holly having to wait on the adjuster. Can she take a zillion pictures of the damage, that she could give to the adjuster, so she could get the floor pulled up and other stuff out of the house? I know from experience that mold sets in fast.
Yesterday the electricians were back, dug the trench from garage to the cabin and finished installing lights and plugs. One light didn't work, so I had to take it back to Home Depot. They didn't have them on the shelf, but ordered me one that will be here by the 3rd. I wanted everything else done before the floor goes in, but that's changed. Floor guy comes tomorrow and HVAC guy will be here on Monday or Tuesday. Oh, United Airlines got back to me and there's no long lost money, darn it.
I need to do some laundry and I have the table runner layered and will quilt it.
Prayers for your needs.
Lyn

Well, my chair and I are in he same state, almost the same city - it's in SLC! Practicing happy dance! Love them darn trains! SLC has a very large inter-modal facility. They are creating what is called a inland port. That's so those rail containers can be off loaded from the ship directly to a train, then come here and be sorted for the rest of the country. Supposed to speed up the process.
