Re: SATURDAY, January 18th, 2025
Jana, Bill loses his glasses, keys, phone a lot. It's very frustrating. And yes, I'm usually one the one that finds this missing item in minutes after he's been looking for 20 or so.
Chriss, my new car seems to attract the birds also. They like to poop on it. Good thing it's in the garage at home. How was Elliott day?
Maryq, I cleaned yesterday as well. Glad it's done for a while. Yes, Jack is a black lab. Don't tell Wrigley, but black labs are my favorite too.
Lyn, you would think he would look at the order before doing anything. Hope he gets the paint right the next time.
Tina, I think cute themed table toppers would be fun for Maryz too. Is it your back, or legs bothering you?
Did you ever go see the doctor about your foot?
Flo, many years ago I had a Fiat X19. It was a fun little car, but I think it spent more time in the shop than actually on the road.
Judi, I thought Maryz said you had to be healthy this year. Hope whatever it is it can be managed eaily.
Maryz, geez! Sounds like yesterday was one to remember. I cut off a part of my finger once. I stuck it back on, wrapped it up and it grew back together. Hope Autumn's finger heals quickly. Glad they were able to reschedule you for the following week. Here it would be 2 months out. On a good note, Yay for another week with the A's team. Looking forward to hearing about the class.
We got our walk in. It was a bit chilly. I put ingredients in the crockpot for Chicken enchilada soup. Might make corn bread to go with it. I did get some blocks done and on the design wall. It's going to be a quilt for Vets. I'll go see dad this afternoon.
Have a lovely day.

I'm back.
Lyn, I've been thinking about having Holly see if she can learn to load a quilt on my LA...
Lori, my foot appointment is February 5th, time seems to be dragging slowly to get to that date.

Re: SATURDAY, January 18th, 2025
Well, my class is over! Hooray! Autumn had students fill out a survey and the news is good! No one actually finished their project, but most were able to take it home and finish on their own. I did a demo on quilting and binding, so hopefully they were able to catch on. My class ran from 10am to 1:15. An entire family came in about 11:30 (with 8 yr old triplet boys) and wanted to join the class. On the last day! Another gal walked in also around 11:30 with a brand new machine still in the unopened box and asked if she could join the class. A person was there from the library's quilting bee club to speak about their group so she helped that person get her machine up and running. Not sure what some folks are thinking.
Towards the end of the class Autumn suddenly got very sick, nausea, etc, and asked Bill to take her home. She felt too sick to drive. So he did in her car and Antonio brought him back (7 miles each way). So that wasn't a great ending to the class.
I posted several photo over in the photo section. I think you've all seen most of these quilts, but you can look again! Thanks for being my cheerleaders!

Wow, MaryZ, what a day. I hope and will pray that Autumn is OK. Hope it's a virus and not something from cutting her finger. It sounds like the Library needs better publicity on the quilt class. Nice that a quilting bee gal was there to help the new machine owner. As for the family, what did you do?
Thanks for posting the pictures. Autumn did a great job displaying the quilts. I love your photo of your younger years!!
