Good late afternoon my friends. My goodness I've been busy lately.

Spent my Thursday with two of the three men in my life. We went to the aquarium in Monterey. Elliott loved the jelly fish because they floated and the lighting made them look amazing. I was going to buy him a onesie but they wanted $35 for a onesie with a screen print of an otter on it. The plan so far seems to be that I go there on Thursday's unless something comes up. I am the Thursday grandma. I'll take it.

This morning I went for a walk with a friend and then went grocery shopping. Costco was out of my already boiled eggs so I will have to make my own. I bought 5doz eggs for $18. I'll make tuna salad and deviled eggs.

Maryz, hope Autumn had a nice birthday. So fun to get to be the baby sitter. My DIL let me know I could spend the night instead of making the long trip, I offered to come any time and spend the night if they wanted a date night. She thinks I'm being sweet, Actually it's completely self serving. Glad Charlie is doing well. Sad that the cop couldn't get the police report right. How are things investigated if they are incorrect? Imagine had it been a murder, you'd be in the pokey.

Judi, high five to Ken for losing 35 pounds. Happy clothes shopping. Exciting to be able to start planning that vacation. I think a family photo caldner is a great gift. And after the year is up the photo's can be framed to enjoy all year long. Or the calendar can be put someplace within reach so you can thumb through it and just smile. Your traffic jam of a truck full of toilets overturned gives a whole new meaning to potty break. I love that River is deciding just hwo she plans to tackle the potty trining. give her a smooch for me.

Valerie, I'm reading your post from Thursday and haven't gotten to Friday yet. You are seeing of your machine will be there on Friday, I'm going to wait anxiously to read your Friday report. Maybe your DD will be eager to sew soon? Planning a cross country trip sounds fun. Just be sure to skip the state that DBIL is in or there may be an extra passenger on your way home.

Tina, I want to see those VD placemats. MZ made me some VD pot holders and I use them often. I also, though I never thought I would, use the place mats you made me for secret santa. Love that the kids had fun in the snow. The potty training routine sounds interesting. I really don't even remember training Richard.

Lois, saw your quilt on FB, it's really cool. I think I might do some laundry tonight since you are done. Happy panto searching.

Jana, PT and groceries, sounds like you are in one of those loop dreams where the same thing happens over and over, LOL. So glad Ethan is doing better.

Maryq, when we had fires around here there were so many go fund me's, some scams some real. And the phone calls. There were even signs posted everywhere telling people to check the validity of a contractor before hiring.

Lyn, glad you could have someone verify the cost of construction. hope it will start soon as the weather lets up. Lots of potty talk on the forum today.

I had ordered some fabric, because I absoutly needed it, from Etsy. It's sheet music of Christmas carols. It just arrived. woo hoo. I like Etsy but am not sure about Temu or ebay.

And, since there is no reason for me to go outside anymore I think I will hit the shower and get my jammies on. Perhaps even toss a load into the washer.

You girls have a great night.
