Busy day here. Applied for Mr Grumpy's SS benefits. He had earned enough quarters to qualify before, where we worked pulled out of SS and we got a public employee pension. Now congress passed and erased the extra taxes that held up us from collecting SS. So we finally filled out the paperwork. A royal pain! Sarah is handling this, I just supply the info. We'll see how it goes.

Tina, sorry that foot is still giving you trouble. Did you get snow? Happy birthday to dad. Next time there is steak and baked potato on the menu I'd appreciate an invite please.

Maryq, those lights are a dream. Dad never came by to hang the second one, but perhaps tomorrow. He put the light over and just in front of my machine so that the machine wouldn't cast a shadow on my project. Did you ask at the post office where your package is? How are your baby quilts coming along?

Valerie, where is the quilt shop? what town? You could text or call your friend and just ask if they need anything, or just say you're checking up on them. I'd do it to you. You'd likely do it to me. So do it to her, she'd probably appreciate it. The quilt is called first kiss. It's mom animals, or in my case grandma animals kissing baby animals. A friend gave me the kit, batting included. Your new sewing area is going to be wonderful. It will be like Lois, we won't see you much because, like her, you'll be busy playing in your room. So glad that there is a class to go with the machine. you are going to have so much fun. With 1230 built in designs I would be curious to know what the first one you buy would be. I can't imagine that it's not already in the machine.

Lori, Hope the health nurse had a good report for your dad. Maybe he will start eating more and get some color back now that he's back in his room, that hospital stuff is really a lot. Moose seems fine this afternoon. We have a lot of toads, or maybe they are frogs, here. He likes to eat them. I am hoping that is what the issue was. I also wish they could talk. And open and shut the door, wouldn't that be wonderful? Remember that sheet music fabric I saw on FB? I found it on Etsy and bought it. I'ts shipping here from Oregon.

Jana, it's good to have your bookkeeper nearby. She deserves some confetti and a high five.

I think it's about dinner time. Guess I need to rustle up some grub. You all have a great night.

Well, add one more thing to my day. We thought Ethan was having a huge bout of his cold induced asthma, nope, he has whooping cough! Ethan has been vaccinated and boosted and his pediatrician is quite frustrated. Especially at the urgent care who missed this on Sunday. So now the whole family is on antibiotics. Except us, we weren't around Ethan. The pediatrician expects to see a marked improvement in a couple of days. So if you were planning on visiting me, sorry, I'm off limits! 😀
