Yes, EMS does report to the city. Then my Aaron gets the paperwork to deal with everything. It's not a pretty part of his job. He has had to have the state come and intervene and remove the person to a care facility. Then issue the condemnation orders. He deals with worse than the TV show ever shows!

Good afternoon from a very cold, snowy, SW. Pa....Not sure, but I think I've mentioned not liking winter! And even worse is having a sister who doesn't mind driving in the snow and thinks we should be going somewhere, anywhere to play cards or bingo.....Snow covered roads didn't hold her back last night and we played cards until 1:00...I might be older but she's bigger and most of the time, she gets her way..!...But, I told her, do not call me today, I'm locking my door and she doesn't have a key......

Oh Maryz, I'm sure you had or are having a blast with your quilt class....Can't wait to hear all about it.....Lena just turned 6 the beginning of October and won't be long before I inherit her clothes....My whole family was always taller than me, I think, Chris was born taller than me and didn't stop until he was 6'5"...Oh well, there are advantages to be small or short, I think.....AND, you talking about bras! Just the other day, I stopped at Target just to see what they had...Now, along with being short, I was also left out on the bust size so I'm really intimidated by anything bigger than a bandaid...But, all Target had were those fancy, red, lacy with matching tiny panties????? Some I couldn't figure how you'd put them on...So, no Target for me, I'll just buy a new box of bandaids.......AND as far as the tan lines, what happened in Barbados, stays in Barbados........

Jana, Just reading through your post makes me sad and does bring back memories....I feel so bad that you and Mr. G are going through this.... In cleaning out my desk, I found a journal that I had started when Jim was diagnosed....I wrote about the bad times but I also wrote about those good times and I think it helped, just putting it on paper (at the time).....I think, the hardest thing for me was, to not try to correct him...Most times, they have something in their mind and you can't change it....Many prayers for both you and Mr. G., I do think about you often......

Oh Chriss, gee, I never thought about Be Careful like that but, if it works, then it's a good thing, lol....I've often heard, as Maryq said, "if you can't be careful, name it after me"....I also often think,I certainly wouldn't want to be a teenager or raising one these days.....That burger does sound good......

With all the talk about hoarding, remember the house my sister and I cleaned out a year or so ago? And this woman was, as they say, with it but oh my, the stuff.....Just last night, we played cards with her DSIL and started talking about the stuff..Of course my sister and I made a game of it and even though work, we did have fun but for the family, it was no picnic....SO, to day, my craft room is really getting de-junked...This is the room I'm going to get new flooring so besides de-junking, I need to get as much stuff out of the room which in turn means, making room in the spare bedroom, which means, moving things around in there first...It might take me until spring before I'm ready for that flooring...

So, gotta get moving....Did cook some chicken but so far haven't made my chicken ala king, maybe later....

You all have a great rest of the day.....And please be careful if you're out and about......Stay warm.....

Jana, Mr. G's condition was likely augmented by his lack of oxygen when his heart wasn't working so well. Bill doesn't remember things, but sometimes I think it's just selective listening.

Irish, I with you, I would want to go out in snow covered roads either. Too much risk involved.

Tina, hope you are getting some sewing done today. I vacuumed the entire house yesterday.

Val, you must be using a cube. I bought so many dies over the years, that I have most of what comes in the cubes. Hope you are enjoying the process.

Maryq, oh my...you were all over the map yesterday. Some days are just that way. I think with your weather, I'd stay in and sew as well. Our next door neighbor's daughter is going to college in MN. She came over before Christmas and Bill asked her how she liked it. She said it was really cold. lol

Chriss, I wonder what makes it Mexican Bingo. Molly sleeps most of the time, so she didn't really even notice a difference.

Judi, you're get together sounds fun.

Becca, shredding is so tedious. I try and do it as it comes up so I don't get too big of a pile. My dad has boxes of stuff he should have shredded years ago and didn't. Now I get to deal with it.

Lois, what are you working on today?

Maryz, you're probably almost finished with your class by now. I sure it was wonderful, and everyone learned a lot of good sewing tips.

I've been just puttering around the house this morning. I might sew or embroider this afternoon. I need to go see dad at some point. Don't know what's for dinner just yet.

Have a lovely day.
