Good morning,
Becca, always so nice to see you post. I hope you get the village. I know how much you miss your other one.
We got the news on our truck. It needs a new turbo. It will run around $6,000+. That is a big OUCH. Good chance they will have it done by end of business today. I hope so. I’m not sure if they work on Saturday.
Jana, how is Michael doing?
Time for coffee. I need it. I’ll be back later.

Good day to everyone.
Becca, Glad to know you are home. Maybe the Thrift Shop has just what you are looking for.
Lois, Hope you find everything quickly so you can get back to quilting.
MaryZ, Ouch!! Hope Bill has a big truck fund saved up. If they get it done, are y'all going to try and get here before the 18th?
Prayers for Sharona, Michael, Judi's DDIL and for any others, God knows where to send them.
He did it again. 4:50 I hear a noise and get up to find Garry fully dressed and coming out of the kitchen. I told him to go back to bed. He's sleeping in his clothes, which is fine. I think I need to find one of those clocks that shows time on the ceiling.
I need a shower and pack a lunch. I'm going to the QS in Llano for a paint class today. The project looked fun and a break from here.

Good morning!
Michael is asleep, a good thing. As per hospital procedure, just as you fall asleep, someone needs something and wakes you up. Not much pain, a Tylenol does the trick. We'll see how well he does today about behaving with the arm restraint off. I am sure he'll do fine.
Sarah hooked up the pacemaker monitor and messed up the plug system for many things and the electric blanket wouldn't turn on. But at 4 this morning, we figured that out and got it on. She'll be down today to fix that.
Maryz that's a big ouch! But ten times less of the ouch of a new or slightly used truck! Daniel found Sandee's truck for around 60,000 dollars and it's a couple of years old. Glad Bill has a turnip - that's what we call Michael's funds to fix things. Michael has a car repair fund here too. And many other funds that he hides money in for just in cases. A real good thing!
I got all my uglies done yesterday, except the ironing of a few shirts. That's this morning. Aaron stopped by and rolled the trash cans to the street for me. He did it at the end of duty, still in uniform. Now those that saw him will want the same service, as the side of his work truck, says Community Service! Silly people! Oh, and if Michael needed fire EMT help, Kate was on duty here at the station that responds to our house. We were covered!
Dinner will be what Sarah calls toddler food ! Easy to keep on a fork or spoon. Michael is not handling coordination very well with just the one hand. Banned noodle cassarole is thick enough to stay on the fork!
Enjoy your day! Do fun stuff! I adamantly admire all you nurses! You are fantastic! It's tough work and I'm already to retire from my nursing duties!
Hugs,
Jana

Good morning Girls
On the run again this morning so this will be brief! Am meeting a friend for an early lunch, then a quick dash to Dollar Tree... then Home, hopefully to sew as I haven't even been in my sewing roo all week! I'm getting the hee-bee-jeebies!
Becca... Always good to see you start us out in the morning, which means you are up super early!!! I can barely open my eyes before 8:00am!! and crawl out of bed only when I know the coffee is done!
Maryz... oh my goodness!! That's big OUCH on the truck. Luckily you are in a safe place to stay, though I know you are anxious to get on the road. Will cross fingers that it can all be fixed up today so you don't have to stay in CO over the weekend.
Lois.... At a certain age, cars start turning into "money pits" don't they? Knock on wood my car still gets me from point A to point B with out trouble, but since it's 9 years old, I'm just waiting for something to go wrong. Glad you got yours all fixed up and ready to go! Tires alone are super expensive!
Lyn... Garry is up at 4:30??? Oh my gosh, his sleep cycle must be really out of whack!!!
Jana... Glad to hear Michael is home and doing well. Prayers continue for a fast recovery!
Time to fly, need to put on public face and go pick up friend for lunch...might have to clean out my car a little bit too!!
Wishing you all the very best today.... prayers for all

Re: Friday November 15
Good morning everyone
Maryz, that's cool about the nativity set. Ouch about your truck though, I hope they get it ready to roll today.
Jana, prayers for Michael. I'm not a patient nurse so glad that wasn't my profession, hats off to all that were and are though.
Judi, that store sounds like a dream come true to me!
Lyn, oh my what is going on with Gary, that's so strange.
Becca, so good to see you posting again, I missed you.
Maryq, enjoy your early lunch and shopping.
Chriss, I hope all goes well with your fan installing.
Val, how cool to retire right before Thanksgiving.
My eye doctor appointment was yesterday so I didn't make it on here, I had a whopper of a headache from the lights and scans. The surgeon was out on a family emergency so wasn't there to consult with but all the images are there and my Dr will consult with her when she gets back. If I have any problems or pain I'm to call them immediately. My problem is the angles on my eyes behind my lens, they are too narrow and if they collapse then the pressure in my eyes will build up and cause permanent damage to the nerve behind my eyes. He wants to try to make a drain with a Lazer and see if that will fix it, if not it will definitely need surgery..... I'm not an eye person and actually have a real fear and phobia about my eyes. I really try hard to get through it but it really affects my anxiety levels and I panic. I sound like a cry baby I'm sure and I get mad at myself because I can't overcome it, I've been like this my whole life about eyes.... dentists don't bother me but my eyes sure do.
Well I need to get walking and get busy on those burp clothes. You all have a great day!
Prayers for those in need
Tina

Re: Friday November 15
Good morning. What a great day it's going to be today.
Plans are to finish up that quilt this morning, parents will be here later today. Not sure what my stepmom and I will do but we will figure out something. Dad is talking about my kitchen next. I am hoping he waits until after the holidays. While I won't have any holiday's here I don't want to have to shell out for a new stove just yet, it's the only appliance that needs replacing.
Jana, don't beat yourself up. It was the same with Jerry, the change was so gradual over time that I didn't notice either. And, we aren't trained to notice things that medical people would notice. So glad he's home and almost back to his onery self. have fun making stay on the fork food. Peas won't work.
Maryq, how was lunch? I am going to go see Elliott this weekend, the kids haven't decided if Saturday or Sunday is best. And I will also be there on turkey day. My parents are heading south to be with my stepmoms kids. I'm waiting for my car to become a money pit. Yesterday it turned 198,000. So far it's repairs have been minimal. I'm debating about when the best time to buy new would be.
Lori, I will finish that quilt today, hopefully. I did get my sewing room in order and can walk around and put things away in there. I have more floor space than I realized. I need to get a sewing table of some kind for one of my machines. but it's a usable space now. I am also amazed at how much electricity and internet rules the world. Hope you get that belt today, or at least smaller pants, ha ha. Jerry had some brand new suspenders that he used to hold his tool belt. My dad saw those and announced he was taking them home, otherwise I'd offer to send tem to your dad.
Becca, glad you're home. Sure wish I could go to that thrift store with you, sounds like they have some great bargains.
Maryz, wow, that is a chunk of money. I do hope it can be completed today.
Lois, hope you are finding everything you need so you don't have to go out for a while.
Lyn, I wonder what has gotten into Garry? Wonder why he is getting up so early. You might tell him that since he's up he could go outside and rake leaves or some other chore. Enjoy your class, what are you taking for lunch? What are you painting?
Tina, hope you get a fix with the lazer drain thing. Lots of things cause anxiety in people.
Yours is eyes, other people have other things. Maybe smoke pot before the exam. Not really, just wanted to make you laugh. The fan instalation saga continues here. Hoping today will be the last day.
So far this morning I've heard from my dad, my son and my DIL. My DIL sends me a good morning picture every day.
Dinner tonight will be meatloaf and a veggie. but for now it's time for a shower nd breakfast, not at the same time. You all have a fantastic day.
