IRISH - congratulations on your new baby! I love her name! I bet her big sister is beyond thrilled!

I received a text from JUDI. She asked me to post a message. She still isn't feeling very well. It's perhaps side effects from medications? She wanted to talk to the doctor when he came to visit today. Anyway, she was getting ready to take a nap and said she misses everyone and wanted me to say hello for her. I'm thinking she could use a prayer or two . . .

Judi, I'm sure there are lots of peaks and valleys in your recovery. Hang in there.

Maryz, my classes are fun. I missed the drawing class, so I went on line and printed out the assignment. The posted a couple of videos and I watched them. Lots of good information. I made it to Bridge today, but left early because I thought I was going to move dad. I'm really liking bridge, but my goodness there is a lot of things to know.

Jana, Yes mother nature is hanging on to summer. It's been warm during the day, but the house doesn't heat up. We have ceiling fans that keep it cool without the A/C. We all have little pity parties for ourselves once in a while. It's nice to have a group that can help you get back to yourself again. Kind words and encouragement are always a good way to see the light.

Chriss, woohoo...things are getting done. I stopped cleaning out at dad's. He's requiring much more of my time. I'll get back to it once he gets settled.

Maryq, you know what happens, you start with a little project and then other things need to be done. It's the snowball effect. Jana had a better description a couple weeks ago.

Sharona, awesome that your granddaughter is on a ship. That wasn't even possible 20 years ago. Kuddos t her. Hope the scrub cap turns out. They look pretty basic. I'm sure you got this.

Irish, congratulations to you and the entire family on the new little one. Harper is a cute name.

Well the doctor didn't get the paperwork done, so dad's still at home. During the time I've been typing this, he's called 10 times. I had a board and care set up, but when I called them this morning, they didn't call me back for 2 1/2 hours. I'm not happy about that, so I'll take a look at another place tomorrow. There are a few other flags that are making me question the 1st place. The one I'm looking at tomorrow is a 5 minute walk from my house. Things happen for a reason. I guess that's why the paperwork didn't get done. I have a list of questions at the ready for tomorrow. I'll keep you posted.

I haven't sewn anything in 2 weeks. I'm just to tired to focus on a project. I can't wait to get back to it soon.

Chicken and mashed potatoes is for dinner. I have chicken already cooked. I made dad spaghetti and meatballs.

Have a lovely evening.
