What a wonderfully perfect day today was. Not sure anything could top it.
Maryz, in addition to quite a few meals I also took the kids meatloaf. My DIL was overjoyed. She said she loves meatloaf. I do too. Guess that means I get to eat your fish and your meatloaf.
Lois, I think the next time I take the kids some meals turkey will be one of them. My son loves the stuffing. Jerry used to make pot pies with the lefover turkey dinner. He'd make a bottom crust and the top crust was stuffing. they were so good.
Maryq, I'd love meatball loaf. I think Lois is starting the next forum thing. I want turkey too. I'm doing my floors in the morning. They are pretty gross, as are the bathrooms which are also on the todo list.
Lyn, I didn't get to do anything to the kids house. They cleaned before I got there and my job was to just hold that baby between feedings. I'm a good MIL, I did what I was told. Looks like your neighbor, Roady, is your newest friend. Twice I have seen a roadrunner here, but it's been about 10 years.
Tina and Jana, funny how we all have different recipes to make the same thing. My meatloaf is one pound hamburger, half pound of Jimmy Dean sausage, an egg, onion, salt, pepper and garlic powder and bread crumbs. When I bake it I pour tomato sauce over the top. Grandma used to put rice in hers as well.
Lori, I sure hope dad takes advantage of all that BNC has to offer. Hope they get him involved so he can make friends. So glad it means you get some of your time back. Sorry about Bill's friend. Prayers for his family. I could do with some deep cleaning too. We're twins, we have the same it will get done when it gets done philosophy
Judi, so glad you are improving.
You girls have a super duper evening.
