Chriss, oh happy days ahead for you. So excited for you to get to hold and snuggle with Elliot. Give him a big hug and kiss for me. Hopefully they'll see it's okay to need help. Babies are a lot of work. I bet they'll be really be happy with the ready to heat meals as well.

Maryz, I've been trying to keep up at dad's yard and ours as well. It's a lot. I have a guy that mows, but doesn't always trim back what needs to be.

Lyn, I guess they don't have quality control at the Jeep dealership. I hate when things are not done correctly.

Sharona, I was so young when I had my son, I wasn't worried about a thing. It's amazing my son survived. lol

Jana, the key saga goes from I need the door locked, to I need the door unlocked, to missing key, found key, missing key. Good idea to secure it in place.

Maryq, the caregiver is working out, but I don't think it's enough at this point. My dad will call to say he doesn't need a caregiver, because he can just call me if he needs something. The phone calls are many and he doesn't remember when I say I'm going to be out and not available. Like today. St. Anthony I need your help.

Did they move Judi today? I bet she is a bit uncomfortable.

I found a board and care house for my dad. I went to visit it yesterday, and it seems like it will be a good fit. Fingers crossed. He has a doctors appt. next Wednesday to be cleared and have a TB test. Then he can move in on Thursday. It's about a 7 minute drive from my house. Hopefully this will be better for him. It's a house in a residential neighborhood. They only have 3 clients now, but can have up to 6. And there is 2 care givers on at all times 24/7. He'll have his own room with a bed, recliner, tv, and dresser. There's also a common living and dining room. They feed them 3x's a day and give snacks. I think he will like that a lot.

I went with friends today and we played one of those escape room games, then went to lunch. It was okay. Not really my thing, but I can say I did it and don't want to do it again. Lunch was really good and will do that again.

I'm not very hungry, so it will probably be cereal at our house tonight. I'll make dad some tortellini with Italian sausage and a salad.

Have a lovely evening.
