Working on organizing a mug rug swap for my quilt group. Its a first for me, so I hope it goes well. Over the weekend, we had our first arson lit forest fire. Fire season is starting early. We are in the center of town, so our house is as safe as it gets.

Afternoon everyone.
The PET scan didn't take to long this morning. After we got home I took a snooze and then went out to my studio. I did manage to sew on the framing strips to the braids. Plus I have the lattice and border strips cut. Hopefully, that will get done on Friday. I just saw the weather and we may get snow on Tuesday. I cant believe it. I am so over the snow. I hope everyone gets better. Have to go and let the dogs out.

Good evening everyone. Gosh it seems like forever since I have been here. Once I get home and we have dinner. I seem to curl up to watch the news or Judge Judy and before I know it, it is bedtime.
Mmymis coming along well. He is starting to act and feel more like himself each day. He is eating foods, blan but still it doesn't come in a bag and pushed into his arm!!!!!!
Tomorrow they will meet with the team to see how he is doing and figure out the blood issues. Hopefully school at the end of the month and possibly remicade I fusion tomorrow.
I have to take hubby for a first consultation to a neurosurgeon to start the testing process to see if he will qualify for deep brain stimulation surgery for his Parkinson's disease. Time will tell I guess.
I want to send my prayers and positive thoughts out to all in need, yiur family and friends.

Pink is the power!!!!!!K
Sweet dreams

Yes, some solders are home from their deployment, the planes flying home, can be heard on a different drone..

It melted some today, yeah! Tried to open ebay-paypal account but won't you know I need a credit card now.. Never ends.. Don't know if on my budget it will be approved. Can sell without it..

Try etsy site tomorrow..

great news... I had sent a card to Karlene last week and today I got an answer... she is fine just a lot going on for her.,,, she's taking a break.

Izzy, sorry DD is sick.. hope she's much better soon...with her communication limits how does she let you know her wants or needs?

Cindy, there are quite a few of us Hexi Ho's... Izzy, Carole, Judi, Me, Maryz, I think Lois was going to try them.. let me know if you do start an applique club.. I'll try yours if you try mine...glad you got your liver and onions...xoxo

Carole, Cindy is a hard sell when it comes to hexi's.. I've been trying for over a year now...lol...

Chickie.,,,how cool to be Tasha.. she gets to hang out with her grandma, she watches a calf be born, she gets to show her great grandma the cool things she made then she gets to give them to her mom... and lucky you, you get to see her face light up with each step.. fun to be both of you...

Vicky, hope both of you feel better soon...

Sherry, I didn't know you were a Janiac too.... how is yours coming along.

Jana, did DS3's bank cover his debit card thing.. sad isn't it that people have to steal.

Flo, we did a mug rug swap on this forum once, it was lots of fun.. hope your's is just as fun.

Suzette, glad things went well.. hope you had a fun sew day.

Chrissy, glad things are looking up for Myles, what a blessing.

today the adoption worker dropped off her "report" she recommended adoption but what else could she have done? Mar has been here almost 3 years and if we weren't fit parents they should have removed her long ago...in her report she said I was cordial and polite but mentioned my frustration at the adoption process and it showed in my mood.... well DUH!!!! the report is 20 pages long, full of typo's and took almost a year from start to finish.. amazing huh? oh well, perhaps things will move forward now, but I'm not holding my breath...

nothing else is new or exciting for me so I will get ready for bed... hope you all have a great night
