we just got back from town... Mar wanted to go have a girl day...and I wanted a side winder to wind bobbins so we went... I so wore the wrong shoes... ugh.

Maryq.. I was thinking that at this time next month you will be room mate free...technically she did move..from her room to the couch and back...wow, 16 days and no laundry...she either has lots of undies or...yuck, don't want to think about it.
Maryz.. I am glad you had a fun DD day... I have seen that hocus pocus pattern, it's great.
Judi, I wish things were closed on Sunday too... life doesn't involve enough family time... and families don't hang out together anymore...
Sherry, I am sorry Otis isn't working out... you'll find a new dog one day, until then you'll be just fine without one.... glad your son is there...

O'Dorothy, I have been missing Karlene too... I sent her a card and added my e-mail and phone number on Monday... maybe we will get to hear from her soon...I remember you going to breakfast with the man whose wife died and he met a new lady...how is he?

we were going to have chicken fried steak for dinner but we are pooped.. so it will be bbq hot dogs and chips... tomorrow will be chicken fried steak night...
I bought a side winder and am thrilled with it.. why didn't I go that route a long time ago...
I didn't get a ton of sewing done but did get some.. I have 5 of 20 blocks in the almost done stage...more next weekend...and I have plans for my next swap already....
and now it's time for a dog and a chip... you all have a great night.

Chriss--I got a sidewinder when they first came out. I got another right after the fire. I can't do without it.
I have my DGD here now. We met at Mom's so everyone could visit, and I could bring Tasha home with me for several days of spring break. She has been arranging and re-arranging the two charm packs of Nancy Drew fabrics. She is so excited to start sewing them. We read three chapters in "The Mystery at the Lilac Inn" #4 in the Nancy Drew series before she went to bed. What fun!
O'Dorothy--one of the schools here regularly competes in the robot competition and does well, too. Congratulations to your DGS on his project! Have you had to cook yet? I love the Friday fish frys!
I think I'm going to put my feet up and relax a bit.
