Good morning!

I need my sunglasses on down here in the Batt Cave! The sun is shining so brightly in my east window - how wonderful! The wind has stopped as well - the storm is gone East of me - but more are lined up out over Chriss in California.

Watched the mystery block webinar - twice yesterday - so, then Sarah and I had to re-arrange which fabric we were using where - all worked out now. Sarah was unsure of one of her pieces, but I finally got across to her how to cut it to be the way it needed to go - oh children can be dense! LOL

Vicky - Ethan has a nickname for his Uncle Aaron - since he is in law enforcement - it is Uncle Bacon! Aaron loves it.

Just heard from my kids on the road - love cellphones - they are in Vegas at the Costco putting in gas and heading for San Diego - should be there in a few more hours.

Well I have a little time to sew this morning - then I will babysit my little grands - Logan is almost finished with his speech therapy - they will assess his progress today and we will see how much longer - only two sounds that needs work.

Do Something Fun!
Hugs,
Jana

Lunch time here at school. Raining no snow yet but suppose to change over dont see how it is 48 out there LOL but I have seen crazier. Did I mention Last wed my weather radio went off with a tornado warning. I looked outside [yup im blonde] and wondered how on earth could that be we just had all that snow and ice and the sun was just a shining bright and melting it all. Then it came across radio that it was the National severe weather warning day and it was just a test. Not a nice trick to play on us blondes:)

Womster what bible study are you doing?

Teresa Yippee quilt is done so proud you are too :))

Yeah Mary for finishing the Jane quilt blocks you go girl.

Cindyg hope BFF surgery goes well will say prayer for her.

Chriss another sleeping pill night for me I battle insomnia off and on Most time can deal with no sleep. I think it is all due to many nights up with DD when she was smaller and had seizure disorder too scared to sleep then. Now I can go months with no problems then there will be times that sleep just doesnt happen for me unless I am medicated. My Dr prescribed a non habit forming med for my DD for her anxiety and sleep and he said when I am in need it would help me too so there you have it. Two nights and I did sleep this AM was a lil harder to get up when alarm went off. So no pill tonight hoping I will doze on own a bit:)

Got to stop by funeral home on way home and then funeral tomorrow. Dear church member lost her husband Monday night. He has been in hospital since last week. He had surgery for a hole in his lung and just went down hill after that. Such a kind sole too.

Well better get back to work.

God bless and happy thoughts.

Sherry—That’s EXACTLY what I tell DH… “I can’t eat anything I know personally!” Too funny. I couldn’t eat my chickens, either… Rocky, Whitey, Wild Thing, Red, etc. I know the shelter will appreciate the clothes. I gave some to the shelter and some to my son-in-law’s brother-in-law who was thrilled to get a bunch of dress clothes. My DH was also a big guy. I love hearing about your new boyfriend!!! He is so blessed to have you in your life, and I’m sure you feel the same way. So sorry about your weather crud.

DH wants to go to town, and I think I’ll ride along. I talked to Mom, and she is making 18 place mats for my niece. They are always coming up with busy work for Mom. Mom was asking where I got my batting.

Hello I'm wireless. Happy Dance. my desk top is stilled hooked up. Boy do I need help. The QIAD site covers only half the screen. Almost too small to read.

Hello All!

It has been a wild week on this end. After church Sunday, DH started feeling lousier than usual so we went to the hospital ER on Monday. He's been there ever since. HE has an infection in the good leg again and IV antibiotics are the only things that can get it under control. He was put in the hospital in January for the same thing.

Our weather was AWFUL this morning. I drove to the hospital only a little over a mile away with terrible roads. I drove left of the center line part of the way because I could not see the lines. It went from snow to rain within about 5 minutes and covered everything fast. It was like a blizzard but now, the sun is shining and looks great! Izzy - Your poem was cute but

I wondered what happened to my message - Now I know!

Let me finish this time -

Izzy - Your poem is cute but DO NOT SEND ANY MORE SNOW NORTH! WE ARE TIRED OF IT TOO!!!!! We are getting tired of Wacky Wednesday Weather!!

Miriam - Reading about your working outside in the flower beds is so interesting since the ones we have are under snow and ice yet. And, congratulations to your friend who passed his paramedic course! Those are TOUGH!

Chriss - Our direct tv hit $90 this month but we don't have any movie channels. If we were able to get the Discovery channel, History channel, and a few others, we would hang it up also.

Sharon S - Did you find out about giving your dog baby aspirin? I gave one of my dog's baby aspirin a long time ago and it did help. But, he was hit by a car and the aspirin thinned his blood enough that he died. Chances are that the accident was enough to kill him but I know the aspirin didn't help.

Leah - I am glad that you are willing to help the First Nations people. I cannot imagine people having bad feelings against the ones that were here first. First Nations and Native Americans are the same name.

Suzette - Congratulations on making it through the radiation! Having squamous cell carcinoma on the behind in unusual but skin cancer can show up anywhere! Praying things go well. I had words with our dermatologist about a spot on my arm. The spot was new - they were sure it was ok but biopsied it anyway. It was border line melanoma. Told them so!

Lois - I am sure that you will get the codes under control Hopefully they will let you use a cheat sheet.

Vicky - I remember using coal for heat. Loved the heat - hated having to feed the stocker for the furnace.

MaryZ - Congratulations on finishing all of the DJ blocks! Time to celebrate and get your brain back into reality.

Becca - Hoping your errands went well and were a little bit enjoyable.

Velda - I hope that your sewing group time was lots of fun!

Kathy - So happy that you are wireless!! We have had our wire for the u-verse replaced 3 times since last fall. Our biggest worry is that the last time, the ground was frozen and had about 10" of snow so it is laying on top of the ground. Now, we have to be careful not to get tangled up in it.

Sharona - I saw that chase that you were talking about on our noon news. Can you imagine how scared that little boy was? What in the world is the matter with people!?

MaryQ - When all of the work gets done, please share the project with pictures!!!!

Sherry - I have heard of the movie "Milo and Otis" and now we have a quilting duo - Sherry and Otis. Congratulations on your new "boyfriend"!

Jana - enjoy your sun!!! And send more of it our way!!

Dh should be getting out of the hospital on Friday. Maybe then I can get more sleep. Our little pug, Stoney, decided that rain falling on the roof wasn't right so he started barking at 3:30 this morning. I decided to get up and get on with the day.

Enjoy the evening -

Diana

it's been a great evening... after work I went to Michaels to get some rubber bands for Marilyn's rubber band loom... my son met me there to get his mail... I came home to a wonderful fried chicken dinner.. blessings abound.

Cindy.. hope Vicky's shoulder surgery went well.. huge blessing that Don got his surgery scheduled.. now what's the deal with your groin area? did you do something to it?

Kathy, my lap top says hello toy your lap top...when the snow melts from the roof does it slide off in slabs or just melt from the top down?

Chickie.. I love the birds too... haven't heard of Block magazine. I have been looking through all of my old magazines... some aren't in print anymore.. I love magazines...thanks for letting us know about Scrappy Pat.. I really like her.

Maryq.. Corinne will have fun shopping for school supplies.. does lunch at Micky D's include ice cream. I have seen the dress pattern.. it is so so cute... I saw a pattern the other day where they take old ladies hankies to make an appliqued skirt for a thin sunbonnet sue. you are such a cool grandma to take her on a special day. hope roomie found a place to lay her head...

Sherry, your Otis may be missing a few teeth but it sure sounds like he loves you lots.. and visa versa...I am thrilled you two found eachother...it's good to be you.....

Jana.. hope I do get lots of rainy weather...glad Uncle Bacon loves his nickname..

Izzy, I'm sorry sound sleep isn't part of your routine.. sorry for your church friends spouse... prayers for her.

Chickie.. your mom will be very busy with 18 placemats... I saw this pin cushion and wondered if you could make it into a chicken. it's really cute. http://www.quiltmag.com/resources/simpl ... ncushions/

Kathy, take your pointer fingers and put them on that square pad where you click on things.. spread your fingers apart, away from eachother.. it will make the picture wider.. move your fingers together to make it smaller.

Diana, can you get the channels you really like on the internet? glad DH is on his way out of the hospital.. it is hard to get used to sleeping without them when they aren't there...now you get to get used to him being there again...

Mar has a friend coming for a sleepover on Friday..my job is to bring home the movie Frozen and a pizza.. having a sleepover means I will have sew time.. woo hoo,

See you in the morning.. sleep well
