Good morning!

Cold and overcast here - we were getting used to the warmer temps - but they will come soon, I hope! More rain later today and tomorrow.

The drapery company called and will be here after 2 this afternoon to hang the new drapes for the living room. Yippee!!

As I am sitting here I am watching a bald eagle playing in the air just above the church - what a sight! We have seen several of them in the area. They are quite large - bigger than I expected. No robin sightings, just eagles!

Sarah and Ethan will down in a while - she is working on her mystery blocks and Ethan wants to shoot "bubber bands" with Grandpa - the two of them shoot rubber bands all around his office - then it is Ethan's job to go and find all of them, so that they can do it all over again!

Uglies are done - so I get to play -
Do something fun!
Hugs
Jana

Just a quick message from Grammkequilts. She will not have internet service until some time on Thursday so she doesn't want anyone to worry. She still has cell phone use.
Kathyquilts, I hope yiur fever leaves ASAP, and yiu are feeling better real soon.
All is good here. Mukes had some chicken and canned peas yesterday with no trouble.
Prayers and positive thoughts going out to all in need.
Pink warriors, keep on rocking

Our Wal-Mart sits at other end of mall. Wal-Mart opens early, and Canadian strip mall later, therefore hiking walk and 1/2.. With heavy coats, boots, etc.. Or should I say galoshes, sungoogles, and boat today.. Of course McDonald's coupon in Wal-Mart our end reward before journeying back to transit.. Quick stop at washroom, OH MY! what NICE MIRRORS.. I SEE GRAY HAIR, GROWING FROM UNDER THAT TUQUE! Thank Goodness I have water, I can soak steam bath when home..

Found a new convertor box, YIPPIE TV for another few years still and a clock radio for the garage.. Seeing a future alterations/yard sale area for the summer. Something to get my mind in check..

As farmchick noted my stepmother, is real problem, and I paced till 2am planning healthy ways to cut her from my life, get myself some listening counselling, a written report protecting from harm. Then, I fell asleep reassured a new Walk-In-Clinic open across.. Something like that he could refer... Social workers have indicated to me that she is known to them, and suffering from dementia but until now, close friends tried to relay that message, and her negative conduct have me pushing close and dear friends away.. To understand is one thing, to live with is another.

I've come to conclude, not to answer door or feel obliged when she comes, have gate in lock while I sit outside in yard. She is very scheaming. Family friend works in hospital cafeteria, and pointed like babies..

I'll get through, a few tears, pray to my angel to come down and guide me safely and correctly. I like to be paid for all my srvc.. Least, I tell homecare to hire I have plenty of knowledge and can help other families.

Hi girls. I was not at work this morning but, rather, took DH to hospital for a colonoscopy. Got to work about 11:30 so had to get busy. Still busy but I had to say hi.

Sherry - I'm so glad to hear Otis adopted you!!!

Suz - only one more treatment - YIPPEE. Now just to get your DH's butt fixed up.

I saw Maryz's Dear Jane book and there wasn't any instructions at all - just a drawing of the block. Is there another book with instructions in it?

I read all but can't respond.

I hope we can all fondle fabric today.

Can you believe it! We made 78 degrees today! I posted some little calf photos and a picture of the blue heron that was trying to find a fish on the frozen pond last week. Definitely no ice left on the pond now! The dogs and I took a long walk through the pastures and timber. We saw a bald eagle soaring above us under the perfect sapphire sky. The wind in the tops of the trees sounded like California surf--if I closed my eyes and imagined. I looked but didn’t find any violets, but blades of grass are peeping out everywhere.

Irish—welcome home! I’ll be sending warmer air your way soon!

Kathy—hope you feel better! We watched “Cosmos” last night. I didn’t see the original. This one has some beautiful visual effects.

I’ve thawed burger for dinner. Must figure out something to do with it. Perhaps it will be burgers for DH and some soup for me. I think I’ll go create a soup from kale, mushrooms, spinach, onions and whatever else I find. I know I have Oriental seasonings of all kinds… Hummmmmm… French onion soup also sounds good. I will figure out something when I start chopping.

Have a super evening!
