Izzy--you poor girl! Fortunately you got into the dentist immediately rather than a two- or three-week wait. Hope you feel better soon--so glad to hear you didn't bust anything even more serious.
Of course, my day was not my own. I was doing laundry and floors when DH got back from coffee. As soon as we ate, it was off to town to replace the bathroom floor at the rental. Everything takes longer than planned, and we arrived back home at 6:00--just in time for me to do more laundry and make spaghetti red for dinner. The last load of laundry is in the washer, dishes are cleaned up, and I'm a tired puppy. I am glad to get that floor finished. We still have more work to do, but I think my friend's son will be released from the hospital tomorrow to come home. His mom will stay with him. Guess I know what I'll be doing tomorrow...
Be careful on that ice! ...well, those of you who have the ice. Those of you in the cold--bundle up and be safe, too. And, you lucky warm people... enjoy!!! So sorry about the drought in CA; I know what that's like after a year ago... crops dying or failing to grow at all, trees dying, cattle needing water and having to be sold, hay not growing... farming is the biggest legal gambling racket there is.
Enjoy tonight!

Re: Wednesday 22 January
I thought I'd check in tonight because tomorrow I need to get gas before work.. don't want to miss anyone.
Scrappy Pat,.. hope Chemo went easily for you and that you are not wiped out... I think you deserve ice cream.. it will be a good treat and put on weight at the same time...or pie, pie works too...I really do hope you're doing well and that Tom is healing nicely too.
Izzy, I will start sign ups in the middle of March, hopefully will have 20 by the end of March then two months to sew and swap, should be wrapped up by June 1st or so... if the birdhouse swap ends early I will start the red and WOW swap earlier...it's your call, I'd love to have you in one of my swaps...or all of them for that matter.
Chickie.. you're right, I have seen pictures of you.... that was a cool jacket...is your pond frozen through?
Cindy, yes we are having a draught... but no worries, Calif is still spending a boat load on the bullet train instead of education or water.. ugh, lol
Lyn, sorry the water is so low, but, the bright side is it keeps the fish all in the middle of the lake. if the water keeps it up you will have a puddle to fish in and can catch tons of fish...
Kathy, I am glad you want to swap reds... I so love red..I really love my lap top. I hope you get one, they are so portable... my son hooked me up so I can do the things I do...and if I mess it all up I just give him a call.. hey, I could mess it up so I'd have to call my son....I am so smart.
Carole, you're really stepping... you must be using a step counter (can't spell pedimeter) I be you purposely walk more just to see it coun't up.. if you walk backwards does it count down?
Jana, glad you are going to get your rebate on the "new".. sorry you have to un-organize... make sure you hide as much stash as you can so Michael doesn't think you have more than you need.
Sherry, I so hope you feel better soon...and your beagle too.
Izzy, tsk tsk tsk.. hope the teeth are so fixable...
Velda, sounds like you and Lyn belong to a busy group. what fun to see all the new projects.,,,
Maryz.. I am so glad your brother is improving....happy laundry, propane and whatever else you can find to get into...
Chickie, those rentals are a lot of work... I don't know if I'd have your drive.
Izzy, glad you're getting your pearly whites back.. but especially glad you're doing good.
Marilyn is watching how to video's on her rubber band loom thingy.. she makes bracelets and such. it was frustrating at first for her because she tried an advanced pattern for her first try. But she's got it now...
Jerry is snoring in his chair, he has been cleaning out the garage.. we have so much junk that he is taking to the SPCA sale... they take almost everything and sell it to pay for dog and cat food... there aren't many other places around here that will take our leftovers... Salvation Army and Good Will are over 30 miles away...
I am sitting under my autograph quilt wondering if we need to make a new one. I wish there were enough time to have a bunch of swaps during the year... but sadly there isn't...
if you haven't already gone to see the block my secret pal made me go look in the swap section.. it is really cool... and quite simple to make, check out the tutorial link I posted.. it's a neat block.
ok, now I'm rambling... you all have a great night...
