Chris Town
We all have different people on our friends list. Cousin Heather Ely is in need of strong prayers and positive thoughts. She is in ICU and having problems with her lungs. Her mom Barbara Mitchell Ely is on my friend list along with Heather. I am asking anyone who reads this to please send it to your friends, relatives, coworkers. She is such a strong Hodgkins warrior, and she needs us now. Thank you

please pray for cousin heather,,,thanks/xxxooo

Ok thawing out again. Upper barn rehayed and girls fed. Lil Dipper's milk sack has doubled in past two days. OH MY I have her due Feb 12 pray she doesnt drop them today or tomorrow. tooo cold. going to try and move her to lower barn mid week when a bit warmer so she can have heat for babies when they arrive. Should of really done it saturday when it was in 50s.

She is not showing prelabor signs yet so hopefully I do have few more weeks. Just pray its a warm day when she delivers. She lost her last two--rain storm hit when she delivered and it was sons wedding the babies were trampled by other goats due to storm fear. so sad.

back to sewing as soon as I can feel my fingers. Had to walk up the hill 4rwheeler is frozen. One more field to go. Will hit them in about and hour or so. The boys and my 4 girls. None of which are out of their barns. Poor babies:(

Izzy

I added another pair long johns this time:)) Legs got a bit chilly this last time.

Hi everyone.
Awwww,....life's little trials! There were more power outages last night but it is good so far today.
Carried my tubs of Xmas decorations to the basement. I was putting them up on the shelves and accidentally hit the small fire extinguisher, releasing the 'stuff'. What a mess! It even reached the upper level...could see the haze in the air. DH and I spent a good hour or more cleaning up. It's a greenish dusty residue and it has irritated my throat.
I expect we'll be finding the stuff for months to come!

Prayers for all in need of them.
SCRAPPYPAT....hope your test goes ahead tomorrow and that the results are good news.

Karlene - did this guy give Elizabeth his own number or a number of someone else? Anyway, all she should have to say is, "Thank you but I'm not interested." Or she could say she is "seeing" someone which she is since he's standing in front of her for her to "see" or any other customers are standing around for her to "see". He meant something entirely different but she is not lying if she can honestly say she is seeing someone.

Maryq - How do you STAND it up there. Good grief!

Maryz - when do you get to pick up Scottie? I don't like to be the one to leave the dogs at the vet's either. Don's pretty much a Featherweight expert since he takes them completely apart and puts them back together again. He did clean up my 5th wheel machine and put fresh grease and oil in it. I would definitely sit her in front of the fireplace in the 5th wheel to get her nice and warm before I tried to sew on her. It depends on when I'm going to use her. If I don't get to use her until spring I won't have too much warming to do.

Chickie - your DH needs an inside hobby!

Irish - MOH treatment?

Sharona - my audit went perfectly and we are getting money back - WOO HOO. That always makes the boss happy. I'm confused - what are they taping and floating outside? I thought that is for indoors walls.

Izzy - I commend you for the care you give those animals even in adverse weather conditions. I don't think I could do it - I'm such a wuss!

Ok last set of barns and goats done. the coldest yet sun went in not that you could feel it earlier LOL. but man was it cold. I had to hold chocolate so that roses and aurora could eat. Normally she is tethered but latch was frozen so Momma held her by collar. poor babies just shivered while they ate. Their barn doesnt have indoor troughs like my lower barn. they ate then they went back into barn.

Then went to check on my chickens and gather eggs. Only one busted open frozen which is good all were in hen house too cold to be in thier yard.

DH has meeting tonight so wont get in to late. He still has to get 4wheeler up and going to get hay to lower barns I was not about to carry bales down hill. I would be rolling down the hill LOL.

Right now shoulder isnt bugging me maybe cause its frozen LOL. I had to sleep last night with my arm propped up on pillow. But seemed to help.

NO SCHOOL again tomorrow. YIPPPEEE> I played around with idea of doing bird house swap but I just have too much on cutting table. Working on lap quilts; mystery quilts X2;SBS sew along; SP block; and I have couple getting married July 1 this is the young man who lived with us this summer before going to basic training in sept. Well he was home for holiday leave. He bought her a ring so sweet so now I have a quilt to make and get quilted by July 1. Anyone close to me long arm:)))))PM me if you are:) give me rate for a full size. I just dont think I can get it hand quilted by then. We shall see.

Well got to finish these blocks and my mystery is ready to start putting together YEAH,, Clue 5 almost done:)

Happy sewing:)

Grammie stay warm.

Please if you have furbabies check on them in this cold. It doesnt take long for them to get hyperthermia and loose brain function. Love my critters.:))and yours tooooo.

What a crazy freezing day for some of you! Sure hope all of those effected are safe and continue to be. It has been cold and dreary but no rain or snow here. We need both but none in the forecast. Haven't had time to read all the comments before but look forward to doing that in a while.
I have computer work to do this evening so no sewing for me but my plan, if all goes well, I will be free to sew at least one full day next weekend. Happy Stitching!! Debi
