Oh, Judi... so sad with you. Another quilt for you to make. I bought more pink fabric today. So sorry we need it. My friend battled stage three BC this past year and is now cancer free. Keep positive!

Hi Chriss, there is nothing new going on here. I am still working on the DWR...need to get it quilted. I was going to attach it to my big floor frame that I have been working on to refurbish to do the pinning so I didn't have to get down on the floor to do it, but (LOL) I need to make a few more parts to make the frame usable. My back hasn't been cooperating enough to crawl around on the floor, so everything is on hold for the time being. Oh well, it will all work out soon. I need to get some supper fixed before I collapse.

I spend the day over helping Rich and Victoria. I told them I would do whatever would be of help. So I got to hold little Harley for a couple of hours! This is tough work detail!

Here is a picture of Auntie Elizabeth with Harley Elizabeth

Karlene--the picture is delightful! So neat to have a niece with her name.

I went to the LQS (at Edna, MaryZ) and got some fabrics for myself and also from a list for Mom. Odie and I took the long way home and went by Mom's and had a nice visit. She was pleased with my purchases for her. They are for projects she's working on. I also took her some Warm 'n Natural from my "stash". I had put a pot of ham and beans in the oven this morning, so when I got home I made cornbread. Well, it was an unleavened corn hockey puck. I forgot the baking powder. Oops! We managed to eat a couple of pieces of it fresh, but the chickens will get the rest of it. Tomorrow night I will remember the baking powder.

We had a high today of 65. Now the wind is howling, and the temperatures are in free fall. We will be in the low 20s tonight. I'm so glad I went out today when it was pleasant--overcast but warm.

Have a super evening!

Thank you for all of the birthday wishes. Two years ago Myles came home on my birthday, and he did it again. He doesn't have to go back for about 3 weeks for the surgery.
Torrie got her port put in today for her chemo. She thought that because the pet scan was so good they might not do it, but they need to.
Kathyquilts I hope you are feeling better soon. You have to be

Careful with a fever.
Shirley Mae travel safely tomorrow.
Grammiequilts lots of prayers going out to your friend.
Sweet dreams
Pink warriors, looks like we need some heavy prayers for all those in need
