Sharona - how great that you moved into a neighborhood where you already "know" someone. Have a great time at the luncheon. I hated to hear about your "wee bit" drip. What a mess.
Scrappy - my head is so full of holes that I have to go back and read about your surgery. I get so mad at myself that I can't remember things.
Maryq - I didn't teach you a darn thing, girlfriend. As if I could. You are so talented. When my student was showing me her boo-boo and asking me to fix it she was about to bawl. She sure was a happy camper when she picked up her quilt last night. It was an easy fix - I don't know how she got it so bunched up. It took me a while to unsew it because I didn't want to put a hole in her fabric. The whole thing only took me 25 minutes. That is so funny about the baby running and hiding behind the couch. I can just see it.
Izzy - oh, you lucky girl. I love amethyst! Sorry you got sick. I suppose you would get acclimated to the high altitude if you stayed there long enough.
Lucie - I just love to watch the Missouri Star Quilt Co. videos. She makes everything look so easy.

In tears again. Prayers needed immediately. Rod just got a text msg from his sister. His nephew, Greg, (in his late 20's) just told her he has cancer. WE don't know what kind but they are checking to see if it has spread. He is in Tucson AZ working now. She is in New York. He is calling to talk to her right now and see what is going on. She lives not far from Vicky back there.
BBL Sorry we have such prayer needy family but thank you so much for your prayers for all of us today and always. God bless, Shirley Mae

Good morning!
It is very gray and very cloudy - big chance of rain - maight even turn to snow at my altitude. Hope not - I teach a quilt class tonight - so snow is not my favorite! LOL
Teresa - Oh what a mess - at least it stay in the street and not your house!
Shirley Mae - lots of prayers for you and Rod - two sets of ears to hear what the doctor is always best - and a notebook too - questions to ask and answers to write down.
Judi - you need to get rid of the mouse and get a track ball - I love mine - never have to have a clean pad to run it on - it just sits there and the ball swivels! Only takes up a small amount of my desk.
Well I need to get going - still have a couple of blocks to make and get ready for my class -
Hugs
Jana

Lots of posting today. Still have lots to do here, but maybe I will have the energy to read them this evening.
I went down the mountain yesterday. Picked up my Bernina 440 from the Motorhome and took it and the embroidery unit to my Bernina dealer. GOOD NEWS!!! My embroidery unit works. YIPPEE! I think it's completely dry, so maybe there's no rust inside that could mess up running. Time will tell. The old computer with my designs on it is dead, but our computer geek guy will try to get them off the hard drive. If that doesn't work, I will go to each company and download them again. It's nice that they keep a record and once you have paid you can always get them again.
Other good news, I had plugged in the Bernina 1530 and it came on. So maybe it will be Ok. I took it to the repair shop.

Judi - I just love Bronner's. In fact, I have their catalog on my desk right now. I have to order a Christmas bulb for Reagan. It was a tradition when we lived in Michigan to get the kids a bulb with their name on it. We have continued this with our grandkids.
Love the chicken dinner you get there also. Forgot the name of the restaurant there. Ken's (DH) complete air force uniform was donated to some museum in Frankenmuth. He Mom donated that to the museum. Oh, I am so jealous of you. Wish I could go and park right next to you. Have the best fall camping trip ever, and this time stay out of trouble......no hospitals.....only lots of fun.

Good evening.. I don't get here much in the evening time but, lucky you, here I am...
Sharona.. lucky you... Karlene's mom is a really nice lady.. when we all mailed chickens for Karlene her mom sent me the nicest thank you note... you truly are blessed.... sorry about the coffee on the screen...lol... not....ha ha.
Cindy....glad you fixed the mixed up block.. don't you love when they can't tell where the error was.... I was at the grocery store after work too, I didn't see you.. we really need to sync our watches....
Scrappy Pat... glad things are looking up.. and that this is so fixable..
Maryz.. how fun to have friends come stay.. hope Scottie does well with company...I have white thread now...glad I made you chuckle.. I was going for roll on the ground side holding pants peeing laughing but guess I will settle for the chuckle...
Izzy, sorry you have the yuckies.. hope it passes soon..... make sure you drink lots of water, you could be dehyderated... keep warm and full of liquid.
Lucie.. I got sprinkled on... jut enough to make spots...lol.. I needed the white thread for an applique project... I mostly use creams and grey's too....I would love to own one spool of every kind of thread there is so I could try each one...
ShirleyMae.. glad the prayers are working on Rod... we should all add a few more.. prayers to your nephew..
Chickie. I also am glad your mom is active.. my grandma isn't active at all and has many excuses to not do anything but sleep and eat.. very sad...
Jana.. what blocks are you making for your class?
Lyn, woo hoo on the machine working.. life can really toss you some blessings when everything else is a mess...
Vicky... can they help MIL's fractures?
Judi, I remember when Sophia was born thinking what a beautiful name for that little baby... now look at her... give her a smooch for me.
and with that you all have a good night,
Chriss
