Shirley Mae, I just read your post and I'm so very sorry to hear this horrible new, sending prayers for Rod to have a very speedy recovery and for your move to go smoothly. Poor Rod has sure had his share of unfortunate things going wrong. I pray that once your closer to family and friends you will get the support you need.

Oh My, Shirley Mae, so sorry to hear about Rod...But, remember, this is curable....Jim has had so many cancer spots removed, we've lost count...We often tell him, he's the one keeping the doctor's office going and he'll brag about having the thickest file, lol...Lately they've been doing the MOHs surgery/treatment but he's been through the ointment and also a regiment of him sitting under some sort of lamp and actually burning him...We've always blamed his on his Irish skin...And I'm afraid, most of our kids will be following in his footsteps....
But, of course you're worried and as Mary posted, we're all here...We've all seen the power of prayer and know that you and Rod are right up there on top...Also, keep watching for those butterflies and rainbows......Hugs

Shirley Mae, my husband had one removed from his nose and I took his dad to VA in St. Louis to have MOHs surgery. They removed five or six at once. They have that Irish blood too, and were both farmers out in the sun. They have both done well after the surgeries. I'm sure Rod will too. Sounds like he has been through it before, I would think that would help him relax a little. Prayers.
