Good afternoon from hot, sunny, summery, SW. Pa...Just the other night our temps fell to the 40s and here it is 90 and humid....Go figure!

Judi, I've been thinking of you all day, wondering if you had gotten the call and of course our prayers will be with you.....One good thing, having it done early, you'll be back home before you know it....Just think of this as the beginning of a very healthy life, think only positive thoughts, go to that "Happy Place" and you'll be back "at it" in no time....

One of the 2 people who live in this house came up with the brilliant idea of scrubbing rugs.....But, I did make a deal, I'd do the kitchen and dining room and he could do the living room...I tend to be just a tad bossy but we managed to get it done without anyone getting run over with the scrubber or traumatizing the cats, too much...Other than that, not much has gotten done in this house today.....

Remember all the problems we had last year with the stink bugs??Well, this year we had none UNTIL today and already I've taken 3 off the window...I guess they're looking for openings to get inside for the winter.....Oh I hate these critters.....

Cindy, I'm like you...I really have a hard time trying to watch the news after dinner, the head keeps dropping....And then it makes me so mad come 1:00 and I can't sleep.....I can't believe I'm just now starting to watch Hallmark...It's wonderful to be able to watch and not have to "hold your ears"......And did you happen to see the baseball game last night? Our Pirates were visiting and what a game...We finally won, 1-0......

Chriss, I had learned to just sit and not say too much or sure enough, you'll be put in charge...Happens every time....I am slowly backing out of my groups...When it gets to be a "job" and not fun, it's time to do something else....Of course, I won't give up my weddings...Well, maybe after the next one, I might think about it...I just found out, there will be 10 girls, 10 men, 4 little ones aged 4 and a little, little one that someone (not me) will pull down the aisle in a wagon....Does this sound like a wedding or a circus???? I'd love to help with your paint colors but it takes me forever to decide...When we did the living room, it had been white and I said I was changing and going beige...My sweet DD said, "really getting daring, aren't you, Mom?".....

Well I guess it's time to set the table...Jim is giving me that look, lol......

Afternoon everyone.
Well, the MRI went well today. It wasn't the normal kind in the long tube. I had to lay on my stomach and the machine did its thing from the bottom up I guess. It was noisy but other then that it went OK. So now we wait till Monday. I have not gotten out to my studio today. But, that is ok. I will tomorrow. Have a great day everyone.

This was our supper and it was super easy.
Homemade pesto (first time I made it)and tomatoes over angel hair pasta and a salad. Everything from the garden! I have lots more basil so I can make more and freeze it before the frost kills it.

Ok just did half hour of bible trivia with my husband:) that was fun I cheated some by lookin up on internet as he asked:) Thank goodness hes the preacher and I am just the wife (help meet) looker upper of answers LOL
