Good morning!
Vicky - Shannon's house in my part of California would have been over 350,000! Hope that it sells quickly for them at the price they want!
Chriss - I used to go to the quilt show down in Santa Clara - but it wasn't Great America that held my boys attention for hours - it was the SP commuter line right there - trains went by about every ten minutes in those days! I drug Sarah with me - we had a great time!
Miriam - I use the same type on threat - not on chickens, but my car! It is running great! LOL Andrew, went back to school about 3 weeks ago - he is on year round school and Stu starts next week. It is his junior year!
Lois - love the owls - they are a hoot! LOL
Cindyg - something always comes up here on the week-ends - so sewing gets interferred with! It is during the week that I get things done - especially if little takes a long nap!
Chrissy - when you get the chance, find out what Mo's MOS will be - method of service - they will usually train in something -
Karlene - it is nice that you will get to break in the new Pastor - just the right way! LOL Shopping is always good therapy for a break-up!
Tina - enjoy your day out! The puppies will!
Well I don't know what we are doing today - so I have made preparations for anything! Walked into DH's office with my hair in hot rollers - told him I was good to go! LOL That is a tradition - from the day before we got married, we went out to lunch - then I came home and washed my hair and set it in rollers so it would dry for the wedding the next day - I had very long hair - it is thick too - when I took it out to style - it was still damp! Stayed curled for a little while that day.
He is putting the final touches on the budget - seems as if I forget to post some of the transactions from the debit card at times - so I was in the hole on my part of the budget, but he had forgot to do something too - that worked out in my favor! No more in the hole - left over money - LQS - here I come! LOL
Well I am off - trouble here I come!
Hugs
Jana

Re: Friday August 16
Well I'm back
) and have 2 beautiful fluffy good smelling furrkids! LOL They are sleeping, I think it wears them out, especially Bunny she gets herself in such a to do when she's put in a car.
Chickie, oh a picture...oh ok. I made this for a lady that I don't know. She's an admin on a Pay it forward site and she lives in the next town over; Silver City.....well she has a little 8 week old grand daughter that had everything stolen from right when she was being born and the grandma was asking for any used donations of inexpensive things because they were having to start from scratch and so I asked her if I could make her grand daughter a quilt, she said yes and I'll meet her tomorrow when she comes to pick up other pay it forwards for other people. Here it is, it's 42x50 and it's called Twist & Turn

Re: Friday August 16
Just a quick note. I have been busy so I am way behind on my reading, but I wanted to leave this one message.
Chrissy1 - I have bought lots of Marine Corps fabric over the years with my DS in the Corps. JoAnn Fabric has quite a bit. I also get some at my local quilt shop. Just google Marine Corps Fabric and you will find quite a bit. Glad Mo is doing so well. If you are interested in doing a counted cross-stitch picture I know a web-site that has all the insignias for each unit. I have bought several patterns from them. Take my word for it, there are a lot of web-sites for military sewing items. So glad Torries report came out well. I will keep her in my prayers.
Well, better go. Will try to get back in the swing of things here tomorrow. Prayers for all.
