Just text'd Maryz - her brother had more surgery on his throat this morning. She's at the hospital with her DSIL - things are looking good so far. They're all really tired, especially Mary's DSIL. She won't leave her husband's bedside...

Good evening! This was a busy day! Mostly I did yard work and planted the flowers I purchased yesterday while I was in town. Couldn’t plant them yesterday as we had freezing temps last night. No more are forecast, so out I went! I had Odie on a tether—two leashes hooked together with one end attached to his collar and the other end attached to my belt loop. He has to be on a leash for another week. He wasn’t happy, but he adjusted and followed me around the yard. This evening we went to the timber and dug up some Jacks-in-the-pulpit, and I planted them on the shady side of the garage in a bed with hostas and some other shade plants. I hope they do well!

MaryZ—I’m so sorry your DB had to endure more surgery! Best wishes for a quick and complete recovery!!! He’s a fighter!!! Hope your DSIL gets some rest!!!

Cindy—Yes, Odie decided to start sorting his pills out of the little turkey breast packets and spit out the pills. I started burying them in pats of cheese. That worked for awhile, then he got wise to my subterfuge. I’ve got him fooled again… I just dip the cheese in bacon grease, and he thinks it is yum-yum! I finish the pills on Monday, so just a few more to get down him! I’ll have to try the peanut butter as Sharon suggested if cheese and bacon grease quit working! It also helps if Tinker Bell is there next to him trying to get “treats”. Then he wants whatever is being handed out!

Sharona—at least with the uniforms we didn’t have to purchase our clothes to wear! We had a couple of jackets, 2 or 3 skirts and a couple of pair of pants. We also had blouses and scarves. Some days we all had to wear the same outfit, and other days we could mix and match as we pleased. Like I said, we all looked like stewardesses!

I’m ready to put up my feet and relax! Have a great rest of the evening!
