Chriss.......no, the room isn't straightened at all. And got a call from the doctor for a sinus specialist the end of January and the following week a neurologist appointment. I ran out of steam & took a little (?) nap this afternoon. Just made hamburger helper for supper & getting ready to go back to work tomorrow. I'm beat & frustrated & ready to climb the walls but don't think I'd make it too far. I'm looking forward to Idol tonight and taping Biggest Loser. Hope you all have a good night.

I'm back, still achy. I have to go tomorrow, no matter what. I have one of the slow cookers.
Worked on a couple of blocks, but nothing major. Just found out my evening will be shot because UK basketball is on ESPN. That means DH will disappear into the "office".
Have a wonderful evening everyone.

Kadie, how long does it take for mail to get to you?

Mgrammy, I know, there wouldn't be enough noodles to go around, huh? That's okay, its probably not on my points list anyway. Mac salad is one of those summer things here. And I sure can't wait for summer!

see y'all tomorrow!

Chriss, you could just send me some I wouldn't tell the other 17'000 members. But if you can't maybe you could share your recipe.

Also just got a call from DS, he says the baby is improved a little today. She still is on oxygen and her one lung has not reinflated fully but they are hopeful that it will correct itself with the antibiotics. My son said the sweet little thing with all her IVs and breathing treatments and all...She managed to smile at him when he came into the room. That just made me cry to hear that....Keep praying...See you all tomorrow. I have to get off this forum and sew or I'm never gonna get that quilt done. Love ya's

Joannequilts - that quilt is my nap quilt. Thanks for the compliment.

Cathy, are there quilters at the Senior Citizen apartments? Vicki and I just went and visited her mother-in-law and MIL's sister who live together in apts. like that. They both use to quilt but old arthritis prevents them from quilting anymore. They were putting together one of those quilty jigsaw puzzles. I had to help for a few minutes.

WeeOne - I also went to JoAnn's yesterday but I ran in and got what I needed and ran back out. I was on my lunch break so no time to look around.

Rosie, I'm sorry you have the flu. Will you be able to make soup with the kids tomorrow?

Irishgram - So sorry about your neighbors losing their baby. I'd like to say that I really admire you for doing the Meals On Wheels. You seem very faithful to that job.

I'm sending good vibes and sending up prayers for all that are under the weather. And I'm counting my blessings - everyone here has been sick with either a stomach virus, the flu or bronchitis and I haven't been sick (yet).

Everyone go to the angel projects from the heart... look at GP's heart quilt for Sue project...It seems our prayers are working... Sue is feeling a little less pain... we need to pray more for her but it is helping.... ain't God great?

Mary Ellen, take it easy at work... don't overdo... do I sound like a mother hen? well good then... I worry about you.... I'll slip a couple of prayers in tomorrow when you're not looking....lol.

Judi, isn't that exciting.. she's getting better.... woo hoo, this prayer stuff is really working... I will add more tonight and tomorrow when I am thinking about ME... what a blessing....

Cindy, hope that good health sticks with you....

ok, here you go grammie.....

about 4 cups macaroni cooked
about 10 or so eggs boiled
5 stalks celery chopped
1/2 good size red onion chopped
about 1/2 jar best foods mayo ( not chopped..ha ha)
a little sweet pickle relish.

mix it all up let it set in the fridge overnight, the next day it is so so good....

Good night all, sleep well

God Bless
Chriss

It's wonderful about Sue feeling a little better - it's given her hope. She cracked me up about the ant fart.
