I want to be the first to comment because I just got these pictures from Inka. I don't know how she finds time to do all that she does, but these are just beautiful! Your fabric is always so nice also...I wish I could find some small prints like you use....you put them all together with such talent!!! And your son's wreath is just a beautiful tribute to Christmas! Merry Christmas!

No, I am in no way a professional - but I am eager to learn things and have been doing so all my life... And make mistakes too - fortunately it can“t be seen wery clearly, but I had to prolong the green stripes and shorten the red ones in the squares because the star points looked incomplete. I had never made this pattern before and did not realize it is the inner stripes that count = make the star inside ... I combined machine quilting in the ditch with a little hand quilting (the motifs in the squares) which I am proud of - and deeply admire all that are able to quilt whole blankets by hand!
By the way - I was quite happy to have been able to learn how to make the wreaths (we went to an Ymca group with my son - his is the green one).
Calico, thank you again for your kind help with the pictures! You are such a dear friend!
Well, I guess it is all from me in this year. Wishing everybody a Merry Christmas and happy sewing in the New Year!

... silly me, both wreaths are green, of course - my son has made the one with silver candles.
