Sandy (sunsup), Cindyg, Ann (sewsew) and Cathy at the Houston Quilt Show. We all had a great visit and had to take a picture before we parted to go shopping.

Yes, girls, I do have a little hair - it just happens to be the same color as the white building. LOL And I'm really thin - I just wore that great big shirt for comfort - ROFLOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously - it was terrific to meet these girls. They are super!!!!

Beautiful ladies. I know you had a good time at the festival. Isn't it a shame that they won't let you take photos of some of the quilts?
It is also a shame that they won't let you bring in a little rolling cart. Several years ago my sisters and I bought the kind that had wheels on it but would fold up to a small little package. When they wouldn't let them be used ( they are a safty problem I suppose) we had to go out and buy big canvas bags.

Wonderful to see you all!! Nice to 'meet' Cindy and Ann! Hope to see Sandy at guild meeting on Wed! Love your smile, Cathy! Probably has something to do with the news about dear little Riley!!

Geneva - those little rolling carts are a hazard. I've had a personal run in with one several years ago. I barely missed hitting my face on the edge of a table after tripping over one. On the second floor of the convention center is a place where you can check your purchases for safekeeping. I think it's only $1. If your bag gets too heavy you can do that. I may take my small rolling suitcase next year and go upstairs and check it in before shopping even starts. That way I can put my heavy purchases in that bag periodically during the day. When it's time to leave I'll just go upstairs and get my rolling bag with my stuff in it, take the escalator down and go right out the door. Gosh, that's a good idea. I hope I remember to do it by next year - LOL!
