Quilt in a Day Forums

Well finally I have my embroidered baby quilt back from my LAQ. She did a fabulous job and I can hardly wait to get the binding put on tomorrow.

That is adorable Michelle - Did you take this to the LA before you decided to buy your own machine?

Yes, I took this to her 3 weeks before I got my HQ 16. But it's quite large anyway and with all the time I had invested in the embroidery I would not have been comfortable doing it myself for quite some time.

Michelle, I remember this one from a few months back: you were working on designing the borders. It is just beautiful; your LAQ did a lovely job! The scallops around the blocks are so nice!

Wow beautiful!!!!! I love the embroidery work. I have the janome embrodidery machine, but never done anything more then some T-shirts ect. Beautiful work. And the fabric is so bright and colorful.

This quilt is soooo Beautiful! I love the colors. It's just perfect for a little girl.
