What I''ve been working on

Post by maryq » Sun Oct 21, 2007 4:35 am

Here's what I've spent most of yesterday doing!

1. Christmas table runner---- got it spray basted and as soon as I find my walking foot I'm going to quilt it

2. 2 Blocks done for DIL's quilt

OHHH I love it. The table runner is so nice. Great for all winter not just Christmas. Love the fabric choice.

OH Yes the block is beautiful! I am a big fan of lavender!

This is the fabric we all helped pick out I think. It is very nice. I love the Pink Lemonade pattern. Goes together quickly. The flying geese are the most difficult but with El's rulers it goes quickly. Your DIL is going to love it.

Good Job!

Now that is pretty. What are the blocks below it?

Mary. . .I worked on my Tennesse Waltz yesterday. I'm glad I made this lap size first before a larger one as I think the colors need to be adjusted a bit. The four patches need to be a little more prominent so the snowball/squares that match will stand out a little more. The border is going to be the burgundy 1st then either a very thin cream then the TTS roses (the background here looks very dark but is the same burgundy as the roses). For some reason I'm not happy with the last one. Any suggestions? I think I'm going to leave it for a few days and then come back to it. I'm going to try some free motion in the snowballs but don't want to make a mess. LOL

Also, I mailed out the yellow/blue charms yesterday so you should get them this week sometime.
