So cute...I love the way the sashing sort of looks like walkways between the pictures. Very nice!!

Leetec, hat is a really great quilt. I love the pattern and the colors you used and the pictures add such a wonderful personal touch.

There actually is no sashing in this quilt. This is called "Round the Twist" from the June 2003 issue of American Patchwork and Quilting magazine, designed by Alex Anderson. The blocks with the Star Trek fabric are snowball blocks and the picture/music notes blocks are the twist. They are made using a partial seam.

She will really love that! I was at one of the local quilt stores today and saw a quilt top with this same pattern. Looked really neat.
