Inka's "Orange Monster"

Post by calicopuzzle » Sun Sep 30, 2007 8:20 am

I am sending a photo of the top which has now become the monster .... As I have said, it was a top we made in a course teaching the basics of patchwork. The fabrics had been chosen by my general wish by the lecturer - I think the orange is too bright and the brown stones too dark (I quite like the yellows). Also, I would probably be more precise with matching the points/corners now, .... I HAVE moved forward a bit, have learned something in the meantime and it is a good feeling ...

Oh, I like it - it's a great fall project - reminds me of the pumpkins in the field!

I think that is a fantastic quilt. I really don't like orange either gut with the other shades it looks very good and the patterns used are wonderful, CIRCLES? And the Fan patern. I have always liked fans. (I would be terrified to try circles). I think it looks great.

I think it's great! I'm not a big fan of orange. I have to make myself buy some when I'm working on a fall quilt but I think it looks fantastic!

I think it looks *great*! I especially like the Drunkard's Path variation block.

The quilt turned out very nice. The colors are out of my comfort range also but it does look nice and you did a good job on it.
