A quilt I made for My sister in law..Done the free motion quilting myself..It takes alot of practice...On My Home sewing machine..I guess the pattern is dark with light light log cabin? if Not someone can tell me..LOL...

luv_2quilt60, it looks beautiful! I think you did a fantastic job with the free motion quilting! I think I might very well steal the idea of your flower design there (in the pink areas, with the two petal loops), to make on my next quilt...:-) I think it looks so cool to have that design and then do the stippling around it! Do I also see some leaves there in the darker areas?

Isn't it fun to do free motion? I too just started to do it this summer, and I agree it takes a lot of practice, but I think it feels like playing around and makes me feel like a kid again! I just sit there and smile in front of my machine, LOL!

luv_2quilt60 you did a great job. Your quilting is very good. How long did it take to learn the free motion quilting? Beautiful quilt!

Ok Homespun you use the flower no, no leaves big stipple and small stipple, and Linda 3 of the fabrics are from QIAD and Zaftcat i have been practicing for 3 months and the 4th month i did it...Not perfect, but i love doing the free motion.....practice practice...and it helps to have folding tables to lay the quilt on to wrestle it around..
