Another new finish...

I finished this quilt top late yesterday afternoon. Love the colors, & all the curves & circles!

I love those colors. Purple was my favorite growing up. Used to drive my parents nuts as everything had to be purple.

It was mine too, lol, had a purple back in high school, & it was really hard finding anything purple then. Had twins beds & I remember my mom found the ugliest purple bedspreads for my room, lol! Oh well, not like she had much choice at the time, but I hated those things...The rest of my room was cool though!

I like it! How did you do the circles? I just did a block similar but from the Egg Money Quilts. It was hard matching the circles next to each other and it made for a thick seam.

Evie, I used the lightweight fusible interfacing method. After I turned them right side out, I trimmed away the inner fusible, just leaving an inch or less on the edge to fuse. I made the four patch block, then centered the circle & pressed it in place. Worked great!

Thanks for all your lovely comments! Found this pattern idea & most of the fabrics at our recent quilt show here & had to try this! I love all the colors, & it's really much prettier than it even looks in the photo.
