Our prayer quilt group was given about 2000 4" blocks that had been cut for a quilting class for prisoners. (I guess they don't want the prisoner to have scissors or rotary cutters.)When the state decided to cut funds and cut the class, we inherited the squares. We were looking for quick patterns to use the squares. I had a lot of fun with it because I really have a problem trying to match colors. So I made myself stitch as I picked them up. I allowed myself 4 substitutes. Fun & quick!!

I've always got a scrap quilt in progress these days. My only "rule" is that I don't sew two pieces together that are the same. Other then that, off I go!

I just love that quilt - I'm a real scrap quilt fan and you did a good job of putting so many different blocks together.

I really like your quilt. Isn't it amazing shomehing so simple to make can turn out looking like Stained Class. You just inspired me on how to use up my left over fabric. Thanks for showing it to us.
