OT-Did anyone else see this last night?

Post by CoyoteQuilts » Tue Aug 28, 2007 7:35 am

Eclipse started about 2 AM Pacific time. My DH is into this stuff. Apparently this is the last time certain planets will be lined up for another 200 years. I will post pics & the one that looks just black is of a planet, it is a small red dot. I hope they come through. :) S

Cool thanks for posting. We couldn't see it in San Francisco.

Thx for the pics. Heard it was going to happen, but didn't hear at what time. My hubby and I are all into this.

I'm 'into this stuff' too, but did not know about it. 2AM Pacific is 4AM Central, so maybe it would not have been visible here. Usually I hear about it on the news. Saw the full moon rise last night, though, so it might have been clear enough!

Thank you so much for sharing these pictures! I couldn't remember for sure when this was supposed to happen and I missed it.

Down here it looked amazing. Like a bright orangey/red orb just floating and it was sooo close you felt you could touch it.
Itstarted about 7.45pm and went on for a couple of hours.

wonderful pictures of the lunar eclipse. Unfortunately I was not aware there was supposed to be one so needless to say I missed it.
