What a pretty quilt. I really like the black sashing; makes the blocks pop.

I made this quilt as a college class project. I used the Elenor Burns instruction book for the Underground Railroad Sampler.

Very nice. Did you do 6 inch or 12 inch blocks.

I made the blocks 6". It was the first miniture quilt I have ever made. There is one spot that calls for a 1/2 " square triangle piece that finished measures 3/4 of an inch.

I tried other sashing but the black was the most stunning.

Tomorrow I plan to enter the quilt in the local very small county fair.

I'm impressed. I read the measurements on the 6 inch block and there are some really small pieces. Good luck at the fair.
