I made this one for my sister, after she begged for one after she saw my chicken purse. I will be making more for Christmas Gifts.

I did not like working with black material, really hard to see.

Great bag! I've made 2 of these for myself, but don't like them as they are very floppy! I'll probably make another one with stiffer batting.

you all are so crafty! it took 2 friends to help me make a bag...LOL

My first one was pretty floppy - This one I still used the batting but also added a heavier pellon, just stiff enough to hold its shape yet easy enough to turn inside out. It is strong enough to stand up on it own. Also, I forgot to add this is the Gracie Handbag pattern

Your sister should love her handbag. You did such a good job. The clasp you used really added a lot to the bag.

Another beautiful purse. I love the fabrics you chose and that pattern is so cute. I will have to get it, I know DD#2 and DD#3 would just love that design.
