I never tire of your quilts, they're very inspiring! I have the whole line of Moda, Seaside and would love to make a shabby chic quilt with it. But, I hate to cut it! Amie

Oh PPPUUUHHH-LLLEEEZZZZEEE QC - who would ever get tired of looking at your gorgeous creations. This one is just beautiful. I love the soft look of it. It's going on my desk top - everytime you put up a new one it goes on my desk top - LOL.

That is absolutely beautiful. You have picked my favorite style. I just sat here and kept looking at it. I love it.

Lovely quilt. I think it does have that antique look to it.

Re: Shabby Chic
Welcome Sewing4Jesus. . . .
Quiltcreator has done some fabulous quilts and we have been lucky enough to have her share them with us. When you are ready we would love to see some of yours. They don't necessarily have to be quilts, we have some "tote/bag" makers here that do wonderful pieces also.
Has anyone noticed that we are returning to the original way of quilting by sewing squares together instead of "stripping". The packages of "Charms" are like I used to do when I first started quilting back in the 70's. I cut my squares any size I liked, then did the same and matched them for the backing (not that anyone could see them at the same time). It is nice to have a choice now of which way to sew them or mix the 2 methods.
