Quilt in a Day Forums

Hi:
I finished making these two pillows, using Eleanor's doublering pattern. One thing that I forgot to do when piecing the first one was to square it off, and since I didn't discover it until I was done, I made the second one the sameway.
I made these for my youngest daughter, she loves french country.
I wanted to practice the doublering so that I can make myself a quilt with that pattern. It was good practice.

Those are gorgeous pillows - I love the colors. When I got the Egg Money book, I made every block as practice, saving the Double Wedding Ring for last because I thought it would be the most difficult. It turned out to be one of the easier blocks in the book the way Eleanor has us do it. I'm planning to make a full quilt, too.
