Calicopuzzle,

Yes the quilt is hand quilted. I started hand quilting in 1992 and been doing that ever since. It relaxes me.

This is El's pattern, pioneer sampler books, book one, I think. golden gate is the name of the pattern

Pretty. Good job on the hand quilting, too. Do you use a hoop or a frame?

I use a frame, I usally do a queen or king, and don't want to have that on my lap,in the summertime, would be way to hot for that, even in AC.

THAT IS BEAUTIFUL, I LOVE THE QUILTING. WISH I HAD TIME TO LEARN TO HAND QUILT. I THINK I WOULD REALLY ENJOY IT. I LIKE DOING HAND WORK.
