Granddaughter's First Quilt

Post by QIAD-Linda » Fri Jul 20, 2007 10:52 am

My 9-year old granddaughter Alexsa made this quilt last Saturday and Sunday under grandma's supervision. This is her first quilt ever. The only thing I did was applique her name in the middle and make her cuts with a rotary cutter.

Wow, great first job! Did quilting skip a generation in your family too?

Linda, tell Alexsa what a wonderful job she did! That is the cutest quilt! Are those soccer balls? Isn't it fun seeing our little girls make their first projects and how excited they get? That is just too cute! I hope you got some pics of the two of you!
