A "Real Sewing Room"

Post by notaquiltsnob » Wed Jun 27, 2007 12:19 pm

After looking at QIAD Linda's sewing room, I just had to post pictures of a "real sewing room". Come on ladies, don't most of your sewing spaces look more like this? Tell the truth! Let's all show our true self. It must be good for the soul.

My ironing/cutting table with my bookshelves.

Granted, my sewing area isn't always this messy. Some of the stuff is in here because of the grad party. However, I am looking forward to the move to OH so I can get some of the things out of my space.
The white binders on top of the bookshelves are my quilt patterns.

Were you in my sewing room taking pictures???? Need to get some pictures of my mess. Glad to know I'm not the only one. Isn't it amazing how fast it can look like a tornado has hit?

Thanks Leetec and notaquiltsnob for being so brave.

Now I feel better! I was beginning to wonder if I'm suppose to be neat in order to call myself a quilter!

I don't think I could funtion if the room was too neat! However, I have to admit that my room is out of control, even for me. And I realllly hate the paneling! I'm looking forward to either painting over it or tearing it down.

I have been working on a new pattern lately, and just now I went to look for the last (what I call prototype) and I couldn't find it. I couldn't even remember what it looked like. Mind you, I just made it last week. Luckily, there were still scraps all around to help me remember what to look for!! I knew there was a reason to keep my scraps out and about!!
