I didn't make this quilt but I did the embroidary on it.

I made this quilt for one of my DS#2's Best friends, Trica. I used "Asian" fabric from Joanne's. It would have been easier to work with if I'd used fusible interfacing on the back before I cut it. The quilt has a great shimmer to it that probably doesnt show int eh picture.

Thank you, Namarose, but that's not my face. That's DS#2 friend hold the quilt. :)

I didn't make the green quilt myself, it was done by Vicki T and I did the embroidary on it. However, I have done several of them myself. I used the book "Look What I See Quilts" by Pat Yamin. The hardest part is finding all the fabrics with motifs that fit into your template. Cutting them out is a little tedious and it was a littl hard to me to "wastse" so fabric when you're fussy-cutting but it is well worth it in the finished quilt! They are so much fun and the kids, and adults, just love to play with them!

I love the big star quilt, I am a beginner, and would love to have the dimensions of the star quilt, this is just fabulous, I am green with envy. Herta
