This is my latest quilt.

I made this quilt as a BOM using the book At Peice With Time. Linda Luther, who owns a LQS called Picket Fence, supplied the fabric for the blocks each month. When the blocks where finished she helped me select fabric for the setting squares and borders. Linda also did the LA quilting and I think she did an outstanding job. My DS#2 gave the quilt to his chorus teacher who is retiring this year.

PS: The fingers at tehe top of the quilt, which appear to be on the left side, belong to DS#2 and DD. They were too shy to be in the picture but I was happy that they would at least hold it over my deck railing so I could get the picture.

Great job. I've never done a block of the month, but would love to.

It was a lot of fun. And I did some technicues I wouldn't have tried otherwise, like the set in seams. I hate those but they had to be done for the quilt. The best part was I didn't have to cut anything out until all the blocks were done because Linda did all that annoying work.

I love the quilt, and the fingers are adorable.

Mrs. C cried like a baby when my DS gave it to her.

Stunning. Understand why the teacher cried - what a gift. Teachers do earn everything they get and more. So often they are underappreciated.
